If we're talking Reading it has to be posted. I don't make the rules.

YOU BASTARD that's my job. I have one job on this board and you've taken it. :flounce::flounce::flounce::flounce::flounce:

Seems this isn’t so much an own goal, as an act of sabotage. Apparently some Newcastle contractors were supposed to go in and get the bar ready / remover anything that might get broken. Left unsupervised, they decided to modify the bar.

Like a more dignified version of shitting all over your rivals toilets.

My mum's side of the family are from Sunderland their rivalry with Newcastle makes Brighton - Palace look like a mid week meeting of the local Bridge club and extends back to the English Civil War.

Both of them pick on Hartlepool, however.

That was my first thought, it has to be a PRANK

Now you've ruined it. You have pulled the rug from under the feet of the self-loathing 'sack the board' element, who are never happier than when moaning about how their own club is run by people who don't get football. :lolol:

So, it seems what ACTUALLY happened, is that Sunderland gave the entire stand to Newcastle, and it meant the bar in the middle of it couldn’t remain home fans. It was full of SAFC signage that would no doubt have been desecrated by the visitors, so they handed the area over to NUFC so they could dress the area.

If mistakes have been made, then it’s at the point of agreeing the terms of that dressing - but Sunderland didn’t ‘put up Newcastle stuff’’.

The really funny part is that the Newcastle fans painting this as a huge WIN, are each paying £600 for their tickets in this bar for the game. The tickets are usually £85. The absolute twats.

We can take it in turns, a job share
I've discussed it with my dog. She's of the opinion that as I'm getting older it would be for the best to lighten my workload.

They’ve decorated one of the bars at the ground that Newcastle fans will have on Saturday (that’s usually for home fans) with loads of pro-Newcastle slogans, printed chants on the wall etc, including some anti-Sunderland ones.

Indeed. Putting anti-Sunderland slogans up is pretty stupid, but it's not this:

Most embarrassing? Let me introduce you to Reading:

Is the correct answer. I still can't believe that happened.

Talking of Sunderland the OB are trying the European busing in route for away fans. This maybe a thing for Palace games in the future not that anything happens these days.

Can’t be, SAFC have put a statement out apologising. It’s real.
The apology is for ‘allowing it to happen’. There is a pretty sheepish bar manager this morning dusting off his CV.

I also hear this has sparked some tit for tat ‘attacks’ - the Alan Shearer statue at St James was adorned with a Sunderland shirt last night.
