I may be misremembering in my old age but it feels like there are always a few odd results over Xmas. In the old days due to players from some teams being more out on the lash than others.
Probably the same reasoning Spurs beat Fulham recently but found themselves 4-0 after an hour or so to a team that couldn't

I was there and am only just getting my voice back. The simple truth is that we were better than Arsenal in most parts of the pitch. Our FBs and wing backs had the measure of Saka (shit) and Martinelli almost the whole game - their goal came after our RB had gone over the hoarding on one of our first attacks.
Bassey was immense in the tackle, Palhiñha is back to his hurrying, sliding best (a fantastic fist pump after dispossessing and upending Saka near the end), a marauding Iwobi scares any defence & Jimenez was brilliant in hold up and poaching. Cairney was his usual cool self. Of course, most of the attention has been on how bad Arsenal were, but what do you expect?
