Haven't read all of this but will say I watch Headliners, the newspaper review hour. Much better than the BBC or Sky equivalents.
Equivalents?

Sky and BBC are news channels, GB isn’t one at least that’s what they told Ofcom.

I've only just seen this from the 'Cancel culture' channel

The producers cancelled him during the break because he has differing views. What an absolute bunch of snowflakes :flounce:

Armando Iannucci couldn't write better :lolol:

I got asked last week to go on the Patrick Christy show to comment on the Hull funeral story, I politely declined.

The whole story is an on going shit storm, and I know the 30 or so families we are looking after the moment certainly wouldn't want to see my ugly mug popping up on any TV station talking about funerals.

Why did you not go on ?

I think GBN is a right wing news channel. But that said, it doesn't mean they don't cover newsworthy stories at times.

I don't know what is happening with regard to these funeral investigations. But it would be helpful to know more.

Something like 125,000 watch.
They have no advertising budget.
Yet thanks to us snivelling wokists they receive well over £1,000,000 of free advertising a month.

Very much The Mail OnLine's business model - which 'we' fall for every single time.

The Mail Online is profitable., GBN isn't

GBN doesn't get many viewers but gets a fair bit of traction via social media. It won't make money, but that isn't the objective. Its more about trying to gain influence as a right wing propaganda tool.

If Labour get in, they need to toughen up Ofcom and give power to act otherwise we'll wake up with Fox News and all the negative effects that come with it.

All the warning signs are there............

I watched this channel the other day and thought it was very watchable. I never thought it was right wing, as they were piling in on the Tories a lot, I would have said it was quite central from what I have watched so far.

I've not seen it that way. I'm not sure criticism of Tory policy suggests they aren't right wing.

Politically, I tend to find myself left of centre. But for news, I insist on impartiality. I wouldn't read The Canary for example, even though I might find myself in agreement on some of what they write. GB News really is the other end of the spectrum. Not for me.

That isn't to say that they may have some very worthwhile features. I really don't like the Daily Mail, and I choose not to read it, but that is not to say that they haven't printed some very useful articles over time.

Think what is important to remember is the Daily Mail, The Guardian, the Canary & say Guido are not bound by Ofcom. GBN News is.

Either play by the same rules as Sky News, ITV, BBC, C4 or f**k off to the internet where anything goes...
