Went there in 2007. Visit Kyoto for at least two nights. Save money by buying a Japrail pass in UK before you go to get some days paid in advance travel on all rail including Bullet Train. Japanese underground is interesting but look close and you will see legend in English.

Mystery not quite solved. It is true Arundel is not a city because the cathedral is Catholic. However Brighton and Hove is and has no cathedral. The changing rules of city status perhaps. Perhaps St Peters or All Saints Hove may be elevated.
