[Travel] Have you been to Cuba in the past 11 years? Travelling to the US may be an issue

From what I can gather this only applies if you have been to Cuba since 12th January 2021. This is based off information here: https://fr.usembassy.gov/visas/nonimmigrant-visas/restrictions-use-esta-affecting-french-nationals/ There is also a relevant thread here...

    [News] The Energy crisis

Give this a read: https://www.moneysavingexpert.com/news/2021/09/energy-supplier-green-ceases-trading---here-s-everything-you-nee/ You will be moved over to a new supplier and your credit will be safe. The tariff you move to probably won't be great though.

    [News] The Energy crisis

Yes it seems the advice if you are with an energy supplier and they go bust is to sit tight and wait for your new supplier to get in touch and then you can decide to switch after that. My worry is nowhere is there advice for what to do when the supplier you are in the middle of switching to...

    [News] The Energy crisis

Ahh that's seriously frustrating as I'm in the middle of switching to Avro Energy with the switch meant to go through on 1st Oct. Does anyone have any advice on my next steps? I have no idea if my switch will be cancelled or if I will be shipped over to whoever will be taking over Avro's customers.

    [Travel] Match day parking

Yes, I have a UoB staff permit and I've been told this is ok to use in both the Upper car park and Lower car park. Normally I get the train to all games but awkward timings with work mean driving is probably a better option for me tomorrow. I'm just concerned I'll turn up to find it full and...

Can anyone advise, from prior experience, if there are likely to be spaces at the Brighton Uni falmer car park approx 1 hr before kick off tomorrow? (I have a permit).

[Albion] Man City (h) ticket ballot

From the website: "General admission season-ticket holders will also need to purchase tickets by credit/debit card, as any remaining season-ticket credit balance has been used towards the renewal of 2021/22 season tickets or is in the process of being refunded on 1 June. 1901 Club members may...

    [Help] Gardeners Question Time.

Can anyone advise where to get rid of rubble bags filled with soil/rubble? I have approx 30 but looking on the council website I can only take 6 per month to Hove tip. How would they know if I have already dropped off 6 bags that month?

    [Albion] Adam Lallana

He really did show his class tonight, top quality performance. Him and Bissouma ran that midfield with ease.

[Brighton] B&H council tax up by 5.1%

Mine also went up 5.1% (band B), which is odd as I thought the increase was agreed as 4.99%.

[Technology] iPad 5th gen battery replacement

I've just had the battery replaced in my iphone SE for £30. Not the same thing clearly but it came out in the same year as the ipad you mentioned so perhaps costs are similar ??? Anyway this was at 'Fone World' on george street, hove. I know it's a bit out the way as you said you live...

    [News] Chest Feeding

Most (not all) seem to have missed what this is about, see: https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-england-sussex-56007728 I've seen they are being told to call breast milk 'human milk' from now on :wrong:

[Misc] Any "Profit Squadders" Made Their First Million Yet?

I did a fair bit of matched betting between 2017-2019 but only using small sums as I didn't have much 'money in the bank' to use. The bet365 champions league offers and grand national offers were the best at the time but I don't see those anymore. Nowadays it seems mostly you either lose 50p or...
