Think they are pretty strict. 24,000 people starting when they wanted would be a logistical nightmare. We have 5 riders in our group with start times between 6.30 and 7. We're going to meet a few hundred yards after the start line.

Indeed, certainly an improvement on last year. It's a cracking event and very well organised so enjoy!
