Olise and Guehi are almost certainly off at the end of the season. That’s why Palace took out a short term loan, to get players in in January knowing that they’d sell those two. Not sure how much they’ll have left over for replacements.
They are in the perfect storm of a new manager and having...
I expect he’s been ‘coping’ with this injury for a while. Probably the reason for his drop off in form.
A fully fit and raring to go Pervis will be a massive boost for next season.
Pervis looks like he has more than a calf muscle injury from that photo.
It looks like he’s had an ankle injury which he’s played through for a while. An operation and long recuperation ready for next season.
Maybe explains his dip in form this season.
He’ll be disappointed as he’ll miss...
I’m just not sure that a team will pay enough this summer for him knowing that he’s been out with a bad back injury. Seems very high risk. We certainly won’t accept a knock down bid for him.
Also Olise is available for c £60m and a lot of big clubs are looking at him.
I think Mitoma’s injury...
But then reports following this that they are considering it.
I expect they may if they get Champions League football and someone triggers the release clause of c £20m for their other striker ( name eludes me at present). They wouldn’t want to be without both of their strikers next season.
Out;
Lallana finishes contract
Milner Finishes contract
Alzate finishes contract
Fati back to Barca
Sima sold to Rangers
Undav sold to Stuttgart if they qualify for the Champions League
Leonard sold to a Championship club
Kozlowski maybe sold and same for Scherpan
Webster sold if we get an...
I agree. The Hughton style of playing to mitigate a thrashing is no way to play. We try and play a high risk, possession style game, but against City they are the masters of it.
We kept going and played our style with a depleted team and with a couple of decisions going against us. No lack of...
Possibly at Bournemouth but against City I reckon we need to be more pragmatic and having Moder will help bolster the midfield. He can get forward for set pieces and help defend them also.
It appears that we are playing the rest of the season with a safety first stance regarding injuries.
Get everyone fit for 2024/25, bring in another midfielder and winger ( Nicolas Gonzalez) and off we go next season with a strong squad.
