[Albion] The Sheffield United golden ticket thread

Reporting back that the club have now done the right thing, swapped my lads ticket for an U18 and credit the difference back, so all is well!

Nothing will be going back on the exchange. Delighted to have the ticket. Just a bit annoyed at the initial response. I'm sure they will see sense and only charge me an U18 fee for an U18 ticket

[Albion] The Sheffield United golden ticket thread

Don't know if anyone else had this problem...... I manged to snag 4 tickets on the stroke of 0900 for my bubble of 4. One of the bubble is a 15 year old but on the checkout page it said something wasn't right. I tried a few combinations and eventually managed to proceed only if I changed the...

[Albion] STH & 1901 Ballot Groups for games in 2020/21 Season

That's understandable. So we have made a group of 5, but it's possible that there will be occasions when 1 of that 5 might not be able to go. I'm trying to get my head around how this would work.

[Albion] STH & 1901 Ballot Groups for games in 2020/21 Season

Do we expect ticket upgrades to be allowed? One of our tickets is a concession and have np idea if and when. If not, I simply won’t add them to our group

Where is the anti lockdown campaign?

No, just no. We have heard of EVERYONE of those deaths because they are selling headlines. Each of them is tragic and sad, but the numbers of younger folk without other conditions is tiny. It’s count on your fingers and toes tiny compared to what could well be a figure of millions infected...

Where is the anti lockdown campaign?

Our original plan was herd immunity. It became clear quite fast that this route would overwhelm the NHS so we went into lockdown, to push back the peak, flatten the curve and protect the NHS so it could prepare for a spike. We are now at the stage where numbers are falling, quite quickly. The...

    [News] Furlough

I'm not 100% but the wording is that those with variable earnings can use an average over the past year rather than Feb 2019 as the base. Apart from those who work different hours each month, I can't think of any other reason why ones earning would vary unless there was a commission element or...

I don’t understand the questions. What he earns is paid to him via his salary, as PAYE. Anyone who earns commission and has is in employment EARN their SALARY and by default, as commission changes each month then their earning, salary, pay, wage or whatever you care to call it are variable.

    [News] Furlough

Being able to furlough staff has been a lifeline for our company. It means we can plan and have a decent exit plan when things start to return to normal. Like other employers I had a number of questions. Some have already been answered on this thread but here are answers to some of the questions...

    [Drinking] How's your drinking ?

Wow, never seen such an even poll when there are 3 choices! I’m far less as I’m a plenty of ale at the pub man. That said, I did open a bottle of wine on Friday at home for the first time in over a decade when we did not have company.
