Our set pieces have been woeful for some time now. JWP had three corners in succession and nearly scored from the first two, we had 17 corners that Gross (and March) simply lofted into the box and were easily cleared. We could really do with a dead ball specialist.

Well I thought so. But on reflection I guess that’s not an entirely acceptable thing to say, so I would like to amend it to ‘unnecessarily and perilously adventurous’.

Undav seems incapable of carrying the ball. When he receives it he immediately looks for a clever lay off which nine times out of ten doesn’t work. Championship at best.

Surely he knew that a Dyche team would not play any kind of press let alone a high one. That Everton would pack the defence with 7ft players so a lofted ball was a waste of time. Would break with speed and accuracy so don’t commit too many players forward and would use the dark arts to good...
