Been to Berlin, Prague, Munich, Dusseldorf, Vienna, and various UK Xmas markets - loved them all. It's all about the food and the gluhwein and the general Christmassy feel of wandering about. The stalls can get repetitive after a while, but have another wine and you'll soon stop worrying too...

Thanks - just had a look. I joined the Harriers in Doha when I lived there many years ago - just for a couple of runs. It was fun, but I was quite a bit younger then with fewer responsibilities. Sunday afternoons are less easy to get free for nowadays. Cheers for the advice though...
