Webster to begin with. He had to be patient to dislodge Duffy at the start of the season but took his chance well when he got it. I think it will be a similar case with White
The point that keeps us up, did well to hold onto it in the end. That second half shows there is work to be done next season but we head into it in a much stronger position and in a better mood than we did this season
Assuming Bournemouth and Villa both lose another game at some point before the end of the season, all we need is a point in the case of Bournemouth winning two, and to make sure our GD doesn't take too much of a hammering. If we can't manage that then we'll only have ourselves to blame
A colossus for us in recent seasons who will always be remembered fondly here, and if he does seek more regular football he will do so with our thanks and best wishes. But as has been mentioned, the club's playing philosophy is heading another direction to what Shane offers us as a defender...
Not a classic, but we held our nerve. Norwich offered little and we defended well when we needed to, pounced at just the right time in the game. Surely a 4th PL season awaits, great work all round.
Out on the wings just as much, if not more so. Our options are Trossard, March and Ali J who isn't even making the squad at the moment. GP doesn't always use out and out wingers but is that out of necessity?
I don't think so. We don't need three right backs especially with Yapi potentially in the picture along with Lamptey and Montoya. Will free up a non-HG spot in the squad for a position we're less well balanced in.
A win and two draws will do it, possibly even a win and a draw. Can't see three teams getting 10 points in their last 8 games, taking into account the fact several teams below us play each other.
Potter: "It's probably a bit unrealistic to expect anything this season."
Think he'll do well to play football again let alone for us at this rate.

Certainly not good enough to play this expansively. For all of Hughton's critics I think he realised our squad was limited and so played to their strengths, we haven't added to it adequately enough up to this point to be able to execute "Potterball" as evidenced today. Does he stick or twist?
