    [News] Veterinary costs under investigation

My daughter spent 5 years learning to be a vet. Very little holidays time off as most vet students have to do placements with farmers, zoos, other vet practices and numerous other organisations that deal with animals including abattoirs. 15 years in practice and she earns as lead medicines vet...

    [News] Post Office Scandal -

The Post Office was reducing the number of sub offices as the business model did not call for the existing (at the time ) number of offices to remain open. How convenient that a computer system would bring into discredit a large number of sub postmasters/mistresses and the closing of those...

[Albion] Where is Moises going? (Chelsea - 14/08/2023)

Amongst all of the speculation I'll add another. Maybe Tony has told Chelsea that the asking price of £100 mil is to be paid as a lump sum and not spread over a number of years. IMHO that would be the way to go just to further help them in not attaining their fair play target

[Politics] 3rd July 2023 - Hottest day since records began - what to do about climate change?

Ever heard of the Maunder & Dalton minimums? Google and see what it says. We are entering a grand solar minimum at the moment and the sun is going to have less output over the next few decades, look at https://solargsm.com/ and maybe see a point of view somewhat different to the global warming...

[Finance] Snouts in the bloody trough..

How about the BBC climate editor, Justin Rowlatt flying out to Spain to report just how hot it was. Beggars belief that they would do such a thing, well maybe not. All have their snouts well and truly stuck in the pot.

[Cricket] The Ashes- England v Australia- 2nd Test, Lords, June 28 - July 02, 2023

AS above JB did scrape his foot inside the crease as per the 2 previous deliveries which short leg fielded. No attempt to run out there was there. The card had the dismissal as stumped. Really, I thought the ball was supposed to be in the keepers hands, that was a run out whilst not attempting a...

[Cricket] The Ashes- England v Australia- 2nd Test, Lords, June 28 - July 02, 2023

The spirit of the game? So Lyon gets injured, self inflicted and is allowed by the rules to have a substitute fielder. That's ok, no problem with that. He is though fit enough to bat, the Aussies needed the runs didn't they, but in my book if you can bat then you can also field. Substitute...
