We are both happy. You get your Brexit, I am getting my 'no deal' Brexit disaster confirmed in daily instalments
And I find the complete dearth of even the most ardent Brexiteers on here, trying to make any coherent justification of what is happening, a source of constant amusement. Although to be fair, the only alternative to admitting that you've been naive at best and completely stupid at worst, is probably running, hiding, denying all responsibility and posting the occasional 'humorous' one liner.
I'd already resigned myself to lots of people suffering some time ago but I can't change that, so it's pointless trying to fight it. All you can do is make sure you're not one of them
Let's just hope the 'Superb' Johnson doesn't now go and f*** it up for both of us by U-turning again

Ever try using the EHIC card? I did. They weren't interested all they were interested in was my travel insurance details. So it'll be business as usual in many ways.

It was a 25 Euro charge, reduced from 50 Euros for my wife to see the Doctor in Italy last year, no mention of EHIC card either. Your right it will be business as usual.

If you read the content of links before you post them, you may be better informed (and I mean in life generally, not just Brexit)
The EHIC doesn’t always entitle us to get all state-provided medical treatment free of charge. It does entitle us to the same medical care as a local resident of the country we’re in, but this may not be as comprehensive as the NHS. Where state-funded treatment isn’t entirely free, insurers will usually pay outstanding costs.
But, of course, because you are British, you should get better treatment than people who live there and everything should be entirely free shouldn't it
Still at least you now have someone equally well informed who agrees with you
