Still at least he is a good Christian boy. He said a few days ago that Easter is very important to him!!!!!

Then he goes and ruins it all and showing he has very little idea of what Easter is about by tweeting "Happy Good Friday, everybody!"

I got to 1.42 in that and loved the amazing coincidences, Trump accuses Biden of being senile and with a dodgy son . Hilarious that the Trump team are flagging this up when their own man has a serious inability to comprehend English as a language and, a dodgy son AND son in law !. Putin must be laughing his socks off.

Looks like he wasn't the only one....

The media was also doing the same, I posted the proof of that earlier in this thread. They all ****ed up, big time, and now instead of taking responsibility and trying to make things right everyone is spending more time pointing at the bad orange man saying HE DID IT than saving lives.
Yeah he wasn't the only one. But surely the states take their lead from the top. Those who chose to ignore the problem are all culpable but ultimately the buck stops with Trump.

More dangerously than that, the orange Commander-In-Chief kept telling Americans it's just another flu, business will be back to normal at Easter weekend (now … lol), and he repeatedly named the virus "just a Democratic hoax". All well into March.

He had the media exposure to make a difference, save 10,000's of American lives (by the time this is over).

Dumbo couldn't be arsed. Blood on his hands.

At no stage did he label the virus a hoax. The actual context.

That is correct but a Trumpian deflection of the gist of his rallying call. My thick Washington State, Christian, redneck, Brother’s brother- in-law is still putting the hoax theory on his Facebook page.
HOAX meaning (Noun)
a humorous or malicious deception.
"the evidence had been planted as part of an elaborate hoax"

He said at the rally that the hysteria behind Coronavirus is another hoax by the Democrats. After Russia and impeachment. A powerful message to his dense supporters.

You splitting hairs over this is not partisan at all.

See we see both sides of the thick coin there. We see someone in here pushing the false narrative that Trump said the virus was a hoax and then as your example provides the other side thinking there was a hoax element from the Democrats

Which means both people are in fact wrong.

My reading of the "hoax" comment is that he was pushing back at the Democrats who were saying at the time he'd done nothing in regards to combatting the virus and labelling such criticisms as being a hoax. Him implying the Government had and were doing "stuff" to combat it.

Quite easy to get tied in knots over this, we always have what the good President says as a benchmark though....

Feb 2nd " We pretty much shut it down... coming from China "

Feb 25th " People are getting … they are all getting better "

March 4th " We are talking about very small numbers in the US "

March 15th " It'll all be great... we are all going to be so good "

March 17th " This is a pandemic... I felt it was a pandemic long before they called it.. ….. All you have to do is look at other countries. "

So, throwing perceived "hoaxes " around backwards and forwards neatly avoids addressing the real issue as usual, and in this case that means that Trump, did not take it seriously enough, early enough.

PS, At the time I post this, the US has had a total of 533,470 cases...……. " We shut it down "

The US death toll on Saturday climbed to 20,389, surpassing that of Italy, which is reporting 19,468 deaths, per Johns Hopkins....……. " We shut it down "

Just waiting for the ramping up of anti - chinese rhetoric to start from Trump , if it hasnt already , deflecting blame as the numbers of dead rise and rise , there has to be an enemy a bogey man for him to blame , whilst his obvious ineptitude is further exposed , he talks of lifting restrictions whilst some states are still yet not enforcing lockdown.
As gun sales in US go through the roof im half expecting Trumps new plan will be for all gun owners to fire there vast array of hardware into the sky at once in a insane attempt to shoot that " damn yellow virus " out of the sky for good.

US has ****ed up big time. None of them took it seriously at the highest levels.

You can see that in Trump's slow response and then Sanders and Biden's reactions to Trump's proposed plan.

When the rest of the world was realising the gravity of the situation the US still had it's moronic politicians talking shit, accusing people of being racist xenophobes for potentially shutting borders, trying to score political points off each other.

It's a mass example of wannabe Nero's fiddling while their Rome was burning.

The administration came out and signed a bill to provide all people with the virus free medical coverage from test to recovery, zero costs. No screwing people over by charging them twice.
That's the kind of thing everyone should just come out and say great idea, let's all get behind it. Create a bit of optimism for people and show some solidarity in a bad situation.

Instead of carrying on with this ****ing garbage partisan fighting.

Didn't happen though.

Everyone should have an anti-Chinese Government rhetoric, they are absolute ***** of the highest order.

A vile insidious regime that is so corrupt it's taint stains so many world organisations.

Jinping is far worse than Putin.

Why haven't you started a thread devoted to Jinping?

Just that .
Im not going to defend the Chinese Communist Party,
Its the tactic of deflection and blame that fascinates me, as Trump flounders and the bodies pile up, this will become the norm.
And as you mention Putin , a proper **** no mistake , he will also come under fire , particuarly the closer we get to the November election, the old enemy will have been behind it the whole time .
His only tactics left are scare tactics.
