About two posts or so above...........
He could have been back in work within 14 days had he wanted to. To date since then he has been a "chooser".
I am glad I don't know what the current situation with Watford if he takes the Watford job it will be because he believes he can keep them up.
Who knows whether he will get the opportunity to choose or not but he certainly wouldn't be taking it as a "beggar"
Not sure I would touch it if I was him but then again. I ain't privvy to any discussion.

I read that Pochettino will have to repay a proportion of his £12.5m pay off if he takes another Premier job in 12 months perhaps that is why Mourinho was out of work for so long after being paid off by United and perhaps CH has a similar clause in whatever pay off he got. Is this usual practice?

Regardless, I don't doubt he's had plenty of offers - and deservedly so.However, I'm not sure he's had any Premier League managerial offers, and that's where I expect he wants to be.

IMO I think CH will now stick to the London area for a new job.

Who would leak something like that to a journalist ?
Not saying that it definitely isn't true but I would take that story with a pinch of salt unless Spurs themselves either made it up and leaked it or its true and they leaked it.

So you are saying that to the best of your knowledge that is not a usual condition of pay off. It has been said before for other managers IIRC it was for Big Sam.

QPR are doing pretty okay with a limited squad under Warburton - don't see him getting sacked.
I can't see it being a common clause. Why would a Club want that. If they don't want a Manager any more. Why would they want to restrict them going to another club.
What I am saying with the Poch scenario is. Who on earth would leak something like that to a journalist ?
There would be nothing to be gained. By anyone.

Well - Brighton - got fired from that one
Chelsea - always going to appoint Lampard
Newcastle - well you do know the history there
Watford - and they had hired QSF before they even fired Garcia
and now
Arsenal
and
Watford again - trying to double down.
There have been 14 managerial changes in the Championship since May - how many do you think were offered to Hughton?

They started off okay, but results lately are not so...
Competing with their neighbours in Brentford, probably irks them, especially when they're doing so well.
CH could do a decent job for them, similarly to the Albion.
