Sadly, also:
[Tweet]1177509963616284678[/tweet]

So it begins, and people laughed when some likened the far right Brexit movement to the rise of the Nazi's in Germany.

It's really starting to look like a bleakly similar social trajectory. Only difference being that our courts this week stood up to the government... and will continue to do so, which will hopefully bring a more moderate government to power eventually.

Curious that both clips that feature Dominic Cummings on today's BBC lunchtime news suffer from appallingly blurred sound quality. Coincidence? ???
Much like a vampire has no reflection in a mirror.

If the events of this week were reversed and an actively Remain government were behaving so appallingly.
While Leave campaigners were being threatened and intimidated.

I'd have no doubt I was on the wrong side of history and change my allegiances, or at the very least move away from vocal support.

I accept some of the Leave Means Leave campaign actively want to be associated with this mindless thuggery (assuming someone else is doing it) but great swathes of right minded folk must now be thinking:-

'Not In My Name'.

Worthing
Why do you feel that I am going to do something?
I have been pointing out what the apparent feeling is because there have been over three years of stalling, scaremongering and hatred aimed at Brexiteers from the remain side.
It amazes me how some people do not have the vision or are just plain scared 'of what might be' perhaps they are living in their comfy little bubble, they are getting hysterical about something which 17.4 million people voted for, can they not see ONLY DEMOCRACY and Brexit will end this feud.

Thunderbolt why do you feel I'm a troll?
I am just stating my opinion, and you can't get your head around that, so you're calling me a troll you're so far wrong it's unbelievable there are lots of trolls within North stand chat, Watford and lever are just 2.

I thought better of you.

In the meantime look at those lovely Angels out there, I fear some need sedating for their safety.

This isn't a threat from me at all, just an observation of what will happen; it hasn't even started yet.
The remainers need to take a long hard think about what they're doing.

It's over to you now.

Accept the decision and grow up and roll your sleeves up and get on with life.

Not safe for work, watch this link if you dare.

Are you still going to support them?

Mouldy, leaving will not resolve this ‘feud’ it will only be the start.
Brexit is not an end, it’s only the end of the beginning. At present time we haven’t experienced an iota of the chaos that Brexit will rain down on this country, Operation Yellowhammer, anyone?

Your dier warnings of mayhem on the streets, really don’t frighten me, even with Johnson trying to stir up carnage if we don’t leave and a Senior Ministers comments in the Times this morning. It would be 200 pissed up right wing thickos, running around Westminster, trampling on Poppy wreaths at the Cenotaph, being chased by 500 pissed off coppers.

But, you and your ilk, enjoy your little Rambo fantasies, I’ll just carry on laughing at the paranoid ramblings of the more naive amongst us.

Just watched Daily Politics on BBC2 - or more accurately just turned off Daily Politics on BBC2. There was a guy from 'spiked' magazine who said the he wanted 'riots' if Brexit was thwarted. Just seemed relevant in the context of this thread.

You didn't watch the Video, did you Lawro?

Most of the incitement lays at the door of your remainers, do you really back that behaviour???

If Brexit does not happen this will not go away as the politicians have not fulfilled democracy.
Our country could be at war with one another on every street corner.

Does this not bother you?

Like I have said millions of times this has been coming for ages, you can't just change laws to suit the minority, and not follow up on what the result of the referendum, it will red mist even the calmest person.

we have heard similar from remainers, telling us there would be riots when we leave. both sides have their shreking harpies who'd want a tear up, though a lot fewer would get involved. you can sort of judge which way things are going by which ones are more vocal.

Whatever happens it will give free reign to the work shy rent a mob and bored 80's football hooligans who are itching to go to London and break a few fast food restaurant windows while holding their iPhone out recording the nasty policemen who might dare to stare threateningly at them

I disagree slightly on this. There will. But it'll be just another round of the EDL lads kicking off outside a Wetherspoons before eventually turning on each other and being easy pickings for the police as per.

No more than normal, should have worded it better.

People are assuming all the 17 million are hard core leavers, they are not.

Slow news day.

So there's only one thing for it. We need to get people calling Dominic Cummings Spaddy Mc Spad Face by Monday and see how long it takes him to lose it.

Like the Barney/Swali episode How I met Your Mother. :lolol:

I'm afraid I disagree. I think it more likely that he was overcome with nerves and excitement at the prospect of being on TV.

And I don't believe the BBC would have left themselves open to the consequences if he had. I would have thought certain groups would have been all over them by now if that had been the case.

I saw this and agree with you.
I don't suppose this poor lad was the most articulate of fellows at the best of times and being on telly was just too much for him!

Glad that's all cleared up then. The 'public disorder and community tensions' 'direct action with road blockages' 'clashes between fishing vessel's and fun-and-games in Northern Ireland. in Operation Yelowhammer had me worried for a bit. I'm 'Low income groups' will be delighted with the price rises too.
