Last season at Huddersfield CH dropped Knockaert and started with Schellotto and Brown on the flanks.
We then witnessed the worst half an hour for a number of seasons.
Let’s hope the team selection and tactics are a little better this season.
The last few games have spoilt a good day out, I’ll bet next weekend is no different but I’ll be shouting them on and trying to drown out their f ing drum.

Last year’s away game at Huddersfield was the worst I saw all season (I didn’t go to West Brom); they could/should have beaten us 4 or 5 nil. It was also the oddest team selection with Brown and Schelloto on the wings and Knockaert dropped from the squad completely, despite travelling. It surely can’t be any worse this season, can it? I

I cannot believe anything could be worse than that day. Standing in the freezing cold, pre-match and HT. Truly awful performance. We got away with it. They were trying to walk it in. They were in our faces, clackers ,drum etc. Horrible experience. Would have preferred spending the day pulling out nasal hair and washing my hair with cat urine. I hope we get something but I won't be holding my breath.

We are ****ing awful every time away at Huddersfield. They absolutely have our number and we don't seem to know how to play against them. Please prove me wrong Chrissy.

Does anyone not feel twitchy whenever we play Huddersfield or Palace?

If you don't, I'll have a pint of whatever you're drinking.

Brighton factually.....
Huddersfield will absolutely tear us apart, they will be right in our faces, chasing everything down, waiting for mistakes. Huddersfield will have earmarked this game as a highly winnable 3 points game.

Palace will just click into place, you just know it & all that optimism we had two weeks ago will have vanished, would not be surprised to be the team that has a terrible run and sink without so much as a gurgle...

I started writing down my thoughts here about the next 3 games, and I realized how depressing it sounded! Safe to say not expecting any points.

If we got a point at Huddersfield and a win vs Palace, i'd be elated. I think we need to win one of them at least.

I’m usually a glass brimming over type of bloke, but, I can’t see anything but 2 defeats in our next 2 games.

I’m really not cut out to be a pessimist, I don’t like it at all.

This is where I am too. Certainly not 'Hughton Out' but tending toward 'Hughton '... which makes me sad :nono:

Would love to be proved wrong. :ascarf:

Wasn't that the game where Knockaert was "disciplined", of sorts, and completely out of the matchday 18?

I remember there being a couple of game where these sorts of rumours came up. Then earlier this year Knockaert opened up about his battle with depression, and persoonally I assumed many of these rumoured games of discipline were actually related to that and him just needing time away for his own health.

We're 12 , we're 12 ! - if the season finished now this would be the highest finish in our history. Please everybody enjoy this ; we are so lucky to be witnessing this team playing in our beautiful stadium at the height of what our club has ever achieved. If you are moaning about this season as a Brighton fan I think being an Albion fan probably isn't for you .

It's beginning to look a lot like...one point maximum from a possible six.

Why? Why is one the max? 6 is the max, and not totally beyond possible...

Just assuming nowt at Huddersfield and at best scrape a draw v Palace

Well, you may be right, but a bit of optimism wouldn’t go amiss...
