Calm down petal,

It's a perfectly civil question. Why do you keep making up jpegs of things you want to say and then posting them with no source ?

*edit* Or, if you don't fancy answering, you can log off and run away. It's known in certain circles as the 'melias shoes defence' :lolol:

If I log off, will you come back out to play?:bigwave::lolol:

What's happened to Boris? Is he about to do an about turn and say Brexit isn't worth it?

Oh dear, someone is getting a bit tired.

It's quite simple, look at the circle next to the name of the poster - If it's green they are online, if it's white they're not. That's how I could tell that you were around for 30 minutes after I replied to you yesterday, probably trying to create a jpeg to answer before you ran away.

You've now quoted the same question three times but have failed to answer it.

Why do you keep making up jpegs of things you want to say and then posting them with no source ?

Trust me, it's quite simple (a bit like you can post a link or quote another poster without the Internet gremlins getting you - despite what your Internet security 'expert' tells you).

My internet security tells me not to,and the ITK people on here are always telling us to trust experts. Some sites will only give you very basic access to their sites from a non-HTTPS site. They might as well be talking in Pushtu as far as I'm concerned, but then I didn't go to university.

I really am trying to save you the hassle of making up a jpeg every time you want to quote something or someone, and to let people see the source of what you are quoting. It's a great aide to intelligent debate ...................Oh

He's probably trying to find a crowd to run to the front of shouting 'follow me'

All the Brexiteers are now trying to distance themselves from this almighty clusterf***. I truly believe that not all leave voters were thick and that some people were simply mugged by some dreadful remain campaigning and complete bullshit on the part of leave.

However, given the reality of the situation now, you do have to question the common sense of anyone who still thinks it's a goer.

Let's face it, when even the Brexit supporting side of the press are saying it's going to be shit

My Facebook feed includes a recent poll of "Eastbournians". They are apparently now "52% Remain / 48% Leave".

I agree that the Leave number holding up as high as 48% is staggering - but I suppose it is Eastbourne...

Edit: Just checked and at the referendum Eastbourne was 53% Leave. Interesting.

You only have to look at this thread, we are now down to the dregs of the leave contingent on here. The nationalist bile interspersed with the daily "leave means leave" bot.

The ones that had arguments that at least sounded plausible have seen their hopes dashed and have melted away.

Rumours that an agreement is close on Financial services, my understanding though is that for this to be possible will require EU jurisdiction at least in part, something else for the headbangers to claim is a sell out potentially then.

Don't forget Eastbourne ditched their Conservative MP for a Remain supporting Lib Dem.

I think this is all about equivalence - providing our regulations mesh with the EU's all will be well, as it already is with other non-members. The main difference from existing agreements seems to be the length of notice the EU agree to give us to end any such arrangement. It will be longer. However, Brexiteers are concerned that the EU will have the power to, as they see it, cook the books. We will be in their hands.

The issue highlights Brexiteers' childlike concept of sovereignty. Getting our country back makes a cracking slogan but the reality is that no country comes close to being truly sovereign. Most of the rhetoric is just that. A shopkeeper's pricelist is dependant on what the shop down the road charges and our sovereign ability to say what we like to Saudi Arabia and the United States is constrained by trade and other practicalities. And with our backs to the wall our ability to resist the practicalities will be less than ever.

In real day-to-day terms our stature as a sovereign nation will not be enhanced by leaving the EU.

Yes ECJ almost for sure.

Interesting the deal would also stand up in the event of no deal. But we are taking about control, yeah NOT

West is BEST
People underestimate how many nations we have pissed off over the centuries that would love to see us fall flat on our arses. It's utter madness to isolate ourselves. Madness.
