I feel a bit sorry for Sam as he didn’t really get a chance at West Ham in the Premier League and will probably think the same again with us.

He may never find out if he was up to it or not.

Confirmed on both clubs official websites. He's gone. Shame really, sad to see him go without getting a worthwhile shot at the PL, but I guess that's progress for you. I don't suppose it'll be the last time that one of our favourites is shown the door to make way for (hopefully) better players.
All the best, Sam!

Shirley it means he/we already know the answer to that?

Can't help thinking that Baldock is too good for Reading, but sincerely hope on a personal level he does well.

Not part of the Moore deal, or just the appetizer ?

Just had a look at readings fans forum they are apparently underwhelmed with the signing of Baldock!!!!!!!!

I for one is very sorry to see him go, Sam always gave 100% a great team player who is quick and draws defenders making space for others.
Sadly often used out of position which he did without any complaints, a major part of our promotion team he is a cleaver player who has scored a few cracking goals.

sadly hit by a few injuries which hopefully he has now overcome and I look forward to seeing how he gets on.

Thanks Sam and good luck

Message to the Reading fans, Sam is a really good signing for you special message to your fans who are underwhelmed!!!!! you really are right k***bs

Class player, was an important part of the promotion winning squad. I hate Reading though so it's a shame he's gone there.

It's a bit like seeing your ex with her new fella, one you have always considered to be a bit of a knob, you know he won't satisfy her anywhere as well in bed as you did and she'll always be wishing she was back in your arms, but you've moved on.

Edit - I've just noticed from the Reading press releases they've started referring to themselves by their postcode, up another notch on the tinpottery scale.

That looks pretty conclusive, I agree. Why we didn’t hold off on Sam B’s sale to tie in with extracating Mr Moore I just don’t know...

All of this. Would have loved to have seen him be an integral part of the PL squad but not to be. Thanks and good luck Sam.
