Silly old bat
It’s difficult to say as 18 months after the vote, in some respects, NOTHING has really happened apart from a series of very difficult decisions piling up. One day May will actually have to confront them. Then we will see.

Completely this. She can't even sort out the Irish problem, of wanting a hard Brexit, which then breaks the Good Friday agreement.
She's turned into a cul-de-sac, of trying to please her party and failing in all directions.

The EU’s chief Brexit negotiator has “fractured” the coalition of 27 countries by dramatically stepping up his aggression towards Britain, the Telegraph has been told.

Diplomats from multiple EU countries have questioned whether “anyone” could be expected to accept terms put forward by Michel Barnier last week, with one suggesting to this newspaper that in the same position they would “walk away and then see how the EU does without the money”.

A Whitehall source said that French figures had expressed particular anger at the “lack of consultation” on a draft document published by Mr Barnier on Wednesday which included a so-called punishment clause that would allow Brussels to ground aircraft and block trade if the UK failed to obey EU rules during the transition period.

You know the EU are being unreasonable when even the French are alarmed.

Not that there will be any criticism of the EU position from the Remaniacs on here mind.

That's when Labour get in and the strikes start. Record levels of employment and you just wishy washy it away. Just don't get this wish you all have for it to fail at any cost. Let's hope you all eat humble pie when it doesn't. 18 months since the vote and your utopia of failure still not on the horizon. Just clutching at straws the lot of you.

Record levels of employment with so many on in work benefits ( if they can get it) zero hour contracts, 16 hour weeks on minimum pay and RISING levels of CHILD POVERTY with one of 'strongest economies in the world' so she keeps telling us.
Borrowing and debt at record highs, more than any labour government and a deficit that was promised to be paid back in 5 years rather than more slowly under labour so that the cuts would not be so deep.
60% cuts to councils so that even child welfare including vulnerable and disabled children services are cut to the bone.
Would I like to fritter that away?
Yes please, at a drop of a hat.
And why?
Because I'm not a selfish ****.

Discord among EU member states = problem for Britain?

I have absolutely no concern whatsoever that the EU will get the better deal. We will never agree on this so let’s leave it here.

Yes, record levels of employment yet poverty is increasing ? any explanations for this ? Surely record levels of employment must equal record levels of Income Tax for the government ? But, we can't support our NHS, we are still having to cut services and freeze government and council employees wages so they fall further and further behind ?

Nice to see you sticking with the outdated, and sad, mantra Labour = Strikes. Shame you didn't double that up with Strong and Stable Conservatism :rotlf:

Nothing has happened, well that's a first, since the referendum result you have been regularly citing economic disaster is happening right now here in the UK, here's just a few of your claims.

1) The U.K. economy is tanking, the pound is collapsing, unemployment rising
2) The way the country is collapsing around your ears you'll all be living in 3rd world conditions very shortly.
3) And given the amount of money which has been leaving the UK since the vote
4) I read a few days ago that if it drops another 10% it will almost certainly force the government into drastic and emergency measures
5) The way the country is collapsing I presume the minute Article 50 is triggered, or a major corporation pulls out of the U.K., it will be game over.
6) Do you really and genuinely think the current chaos of the U.K. economy is merely some re-adjustment

If you continually lie you need a good memory or eventually you get found out .....

My apologies. I forgot, only press releases/leaks from the EU side or articles from the Guardian and Independent (same thing?) are reliable sources. :D

Absolutely. Everything is fake news, they are all as bad as each other for making up spurious numbers to suit their agenda.

They are the printed version of big gully and PPF.

You on your fake four day week yet ?

Aren't we all?

Although I do know one of our biggest clients served us with notice that due to the uncertainty, they were moving their financial operations to Germany. That is 2000 people about to lose their jobs from London and reading ( or relocate although they don't know if they can get residents rights.) ...which will also affect our bottom line too.

So real fake news for some people.....but there are millions of fruit picking jobs they can all retrain to do.

Marvellous scenes

Here you go again completely missing the point and steering the thread back to the handful of topics you always do. You really do have the comprehension of a child. READ THE CONTEXT! I’m talking about decisions. I have no idea what you do in life, and I’m not remotely interested, but it can’t be very complex.

You do realise some 400 000+ more people found employment in 2017 than 2016 and you are citing an anecdotal 2000 jobs as if it is a relevant indicator above the 400 000+.that found employment.

You will no doubt sneer at those 100 000's finding work whilst overcooking the importance of your clients credentials, your sums just don't add up.
