Growth estimated to be worth 0.8% for UK growth, compared to the 8% hit in UK growth the departure from the Single Market would bring.

You obviously do which leads to a few questions.

What is Her Majesty's Government track record in making economic forecasts generally?

Why was the OBR set up?

What is HMG track record in making Brexit forecasts?

Relating to the last question ... Why are we not in the middle of the HMG forecast recession?

What happened to the forecast collapse in GDP?

Why is employment at a record high instead of the 500,000 + more unemployed forecast by HMG?

Why is employment at a record high

Woeful productivity, zero hours contracts*, record numbers of self-employed*.....what do I win?

* don’t actually have any idea of the hours they work....just that they’re employed.

what do I win?

A minimum wage, dead-end job with no prospects - and take your pick - there's a record number of them to chose from in the utopia of Tory Brexit Britain 2018.

(Don't get sick or made redundant though - ESA has been cut and Universal Credit won't assist you because work pays, not Esther McVey)

We have record numbers of people employed and still relying on top up benefits to survive. Brexit or no Brexit, that's unsustainable in anyone's books.

“Borrowers ignoring mortgage timebomb, says FCA”

“Nearly one in five mortgage-holders has an interest-only home loan, meaning they would need savings or other funds to pay a final lump sum.”

Because we haven't left yet.

“The analysis shows that immediately following a vote to leave the EU, the economy would be pushed into a recession, with four quarters of negative growth.”

"A vote to leave would cause an immediate and profound economic shock creating instability and uncertainty which would be compounded by the complex and interdependent negotiations that would follow. The central conclusion of the analysis is that the effect of this profound shock would be to push the UK into recession and lead to a sharp rise in unemployment. "

This would be the Same Jacob Rees Mogg who went on live TV to voice his disapproval of gay marriage and abortion (even in rape cases) and gives after dinner speeches at the TBG, an organisation that lobbies for black people to be sent back to their "Natural homelands", votes for decrease in benefits, votes down climate legislation ? Nah, you're alright thanks.

According to the bloke you slavishly follow on here,he is somebody who has consistently out-performed everybody on here, and therefore should be obeyed!:lolol:

I am sure we could build the expensive facilities required, eventually.
They are not playing silly games, they have protocols which we adhere to and it all works, it is us that is playing silly games and saying we can't do that anymore because the ECJ oversees it and half the people in the UK think they are the devil incarnate.

The facilities already exist in Oxford and Aldermaston, just to name two sites of many which undertake medical and weapon research/maintenance.

Because they genuinely believe propaganda that the UK is an easy touch and they are lied to by people traffickers. Plus, quite rightly they believe we are a tolerant nation that tries to help those in need.

What is Her Majesty's Government track record in making economic forecasts generally?

Their economic forecasts have been too optimistic pretty much consistently to this point. So the likelihood of the 8% lower GDP is more likely to end up being 12-13% on current form.

Why was the OBR set up?

Because George Osborne wanted to feel big and superior.

What is HMG track record in making Brexit forecasts?

See answer to first question.

Relating to the last question ... Why are we not in the middle of the HMG forecast recession?

Because we haven't left yet and this was forecast to happen after we left.

What happened to the forecast collapse in GDP?

See previous answer.

Why is employment at a record high instead of the 500,000 + more unemployed forecast by HMG?

See previous answer, plus attempts by HMG to remove people from unemployment figures through other means such as universal credit.

Hope that gave you the answers you wanted.
