I think it has got to a point where any club now knows our striker crisis and these clubs, players, agents all have us over a barrel, when so late in the window.If we show interest in any player now I suggest £££££ signs above the norm will be expected.

If there were only a couple of strikers in the world, yes, they'd have us over a barrel. As it is, there are many strikers. We will be trying to get any one or two of several. A few clubs will be trying to get well over market value, and a couple of clubs will probably accept close to market value.

If it was simply a case that all prices go up extortionately at the end of the window, then clubs would be daft to sell before the end of the window.

Zohore looks quality in the highlights every time. But then that's a limited view of his game. Hard to see though why he wouldn't be a much better long term prospect than someone like Chris Wood. Big, strong, mobile, has a few tricks, links play well, scores goals.
