Showing my age here:-

Magic eye pictures.

I have never, not once seen anything other than swirly colours.

A bit random, Christ knows where that came from.

I agree whole heartedly, Even when on mind expanding substances, seeing things from every angle I never saw anything in those bloody things.

I'm with you on the flip flops, do not understand at all how anyone finds them comfortable, they are awful.

They look shit as well but if looking like a sloppy Aussie back packer is your thing fine with me. Birkenstocks are the way forward.

3D films.

Yep, never seen one that has been an improvement on the 2D version.

Might be to do with piss farting about with the 3D glasses over my normal glasses and then not daring to move in case they fall off again.

Seriously, I must be doing it wrong.

I'm all over self service check outs. A trip to the supermarket is like an inquest

Have you got a club card?
How are you paying?
Would you like cash back?
Have you bought your own bags?
Can I interest you in our dog shit flavoured chocolate bar on special offer?

At least I can tell the electronic version where to stick the dog shit flavoured chocolate bar without it being offended.

I was totally blindsided in Waitrose on Neville road while back for the visit the other week.

"Would you like a tea or coffee?" I was asked after the other list of questions.

What the **** is all that about "Yes please....... and a blow job" I replied

He wasn't happy.

Sunglasses are always an issue with me. I can get on with them...it's more the difficulty I have with finding a suitable pair.

David Bowie. To my ears he had about three absolute bangers and a dozen albums worth of self indulgent, drug fuelled wankery.
But then I've never really got the importance people attach to music in general. There's a few songs here and there that catch my ear but I'm not one to seek out and absorb myself in music.
The last album I really thought was good was the first London Grammar album but I haven't listened to that for ages now.
It's odd, I used to be very much into music. I think the decline of CD's hasn't helped, I was always buying stuff when they were the thing now it's all downloads I've just lost interest. Haven't owned a CD player for about 5 years.
Maybe I'll get a cheap one and see if the love returns but I much prefer podcasts and the radio.

I too don't like flip flops but not because of the walking thing, although that is annoying. It's that I don't like having my shins exposed, I feel like I'm going to hurt them. Weird.

And the usual: All forms of social media. It's all so boring and a crucible for narcissistic, show off, wankers with no lives, no self awareness or self confidence. Ugh. Ghastly.

Totally agree.
I know this isn't specifically about arts or entertainment, but two for me would be:
1. ABBA the Movie. I was never a great ABBA fan, but had no great objection to them. They did extremely well what they did. But I thought the Movie was the biggest load of inconsequential old tosh that I had ever seen..... And everyone else, including the critics, seemed to love it.
2. Downtown Abbey - pointless pot-boiling rubbish, like most things that Julian Fellowes has ever been involved in.

I don't get the facial piercing thing. Especially through the septum, I always double take as they look like bogeys.
