So, who's to blame? The coat, the barriers, or Sagan??

After seeing the video last night, its definitely the jackets fault IMO...for what its worth. Why on earth would some one hang their coat over the barriers when you know they ride the gutters? I've read so many comments saying he shouldn't have been on the edge anyway, but how many times have we seen it over the years on the cobbles...? They've all done it at times just to give themselves a break! They spend enough time during the RVV etc bouncing along on the cobbles, so I'm not surprised they use the side sometimes. Gilbert did it too quite a bit, but I dont see anyone criticizing him for it. Anyway, Sagan will fight another day & it'll all be forgotten once he starts getting a win or two under his belt.

Good win for Matthews in the Tour of the Basque country yesterday - but you have to feel for Alaphillipe getting a puncture 3km out after a nice little attack. Worth watching this race as its a good field, & its through some stunning scenery.

I thought Sagan was too close to the barrier.
Or the barrier was too close (or not close enough) to the gutter.
The way Sagan, I think, pulled the advertising off is rather telling.
The jacket was caught up in 1066's mates frame, and he was riding 3rd wheel.

I'd like to know what happened to Team Sky.
It's as if they rode to get Rowe into the selection, then sat up, thinking 'nothing can go wrong now'.
You'd have thought Stannard and a rider or 2, would have ridden with the Sagan group as a back up plan, but they all seemed to disappear the moment the break went.

Just caught this on a rerun. Would have thought Matthews would be at Flanders, a sprinter who can climb, and he finished 8th in Gent Wevelgem two weeks a go. Still he should pick up some easy wins this week

Hi all, I have posted before on here ages ago (once), but anyway...

I got a brand shiny new bike last weekend - can I just ask what locks you would recommend? I bought an Abus D-lock which has broken after just three days of use. I plan on getting it replaced at the store for a more reliable one.

Also, with registering your bike, there's a few companies on the market offering tagging at a reasonable price: SmartWater, Immobilise and Bike Register. Which one (if any) do you use?

I ask these pretty basic questions because my bike is a Trek Zektor 3 hybrid which is not cheap. I have been fortunate to not have been a victim of theft before, presumably because my previous bikes have been rubbish.

If you are going to be leaving your bike out a lot, you need to spend quite a lot. I would go for one of these - they look brilliant!

Otherwise, it's a kryptonite D-Lock with steel cable. They are also not cheap, if you want quality.

I've just had (probably) my first cycling bet of the season, on tomorrows Roubaix.

A fiver on Skybar @ 28/1 - stealing money.
& for shits and giggles
£1 ew on Edwards Theuns @ 125/1 - giving money.

Is your Skybar bet not on an annual direct debit?
Good point well made.

ZS' the man for the cobbles.
He's on good form without having to push himself.
We all know he wants this race.

If he can get himself to the head of his own team (easier said than done) 28/1 will look ridiculous.
