Abolishing freedom of speech is silly, in fact its not silly it is f*cking dangerous when we know what it eventually led to..
.

You not getting to use outdated and silly names for foreigners won't lead to the 4th Reich.

Freedom of speech does not mean that you can say whatever you like without any consequences.

Seems to be a common misconception these days. A very deliberate one in many cases where freedom of speech in disagreeing with something is classed as "whinging" or "not accepting the will of the people" etc whereas being totally offensive to individuals or groups of people (women, a particular race, whatever) is ok because...er.. freedom of speech!!

Tit for tat Godwin's Law bullshit notwithstanding.

You might not think so but i do.
On a slightly different note look at what happened in Rotherham when the labour council said nothing for the fear of being accused racist...you might be happy to live along them terms but i'm not.

Of course you have to draw the line somewhere i didn't say otherwise, but putting a complete ban on such shows as love thy neighbour is a going way over the top in my view. as iv'e stated before one of my best pals was black and he found the show to be a right scream.. as did most other blacks if we are being totally honest. and again, the white fella in it played the stooge. no whites were offended by it.

You see, you're so out of touch. Shows like Love thy Neighbour are not banned. Never were. Nobody wants to watch them anymore so nobody makes them anymore. Simple as that. No agenda to silence the white masses. Simple case of nobody really finding that crap funny.

Compare Love thy neighbour with a character like Alf Garnett. He was funny and well written and clever and wrong. That's why his character is loved and has endured whereas the white neighbour in your programme was badly written and unfunny so nobody wanted to watch it.

The Association for UK Interactive Entertainment (UKIE) did a presentation about their priorities for the EU negotiations to the UK government.

40% of surveyed companys are considering relocating part or all of their business outside the UK.

23% of those companys thinking about moving have already been approached by other places.
Since the EU Referendum.

37% of games businesses report negative impacts on their ability to attract investment.

38% of games businesses are experiencing direct negative impact on ability to attract and retain talent.

57% of games businesses employ EU workers. On average, EU employees make up 34% of these companies' headcount.

9 months later I still haven't seen a positive reason to leave the EU, only wild inaccurate stories of immigration.

The UK 3 year growth forecasts are still 35 BILLION POUNDS less than predicted in May 2016. From the government themselves.
https://www.gov.uk/government/uploa...797_forecasts_for_uk_economy_349_may_2016.pdf

Well done everyone.

OK I'll bite.

From the government themselves ... priceless. When did you start believing Conservative government's economic predictions?

I'll give you some clues. 40% is a minority; 23% is a minority........you can do the maths for the rest.

(Or, in a historical context, 48% is a minority, 52% is a majority).
I've had no sleep and am quite pissed, and yet still..... "WHOOSH".
