It's interesting to think through options in preference order for each of our defensive positions.

Left: Bong Pocognoli. Adekugbe, Rosenior.....

Centre: Dunk, Duffy, Hunemeier, Rosenior, Hall, Tomori, Dallison.....

Right: Bruno, Tomori, Rosenior....

Not really sure who's a real option in each position and who's not? However we might need to see some experimenting and shuffling around. We really need Rosenior to get fit now

All the best to the lad, could've been nasty if it hadn't been spotted.

Not too concerned as we've still got 3 quality CBs and Tomori as 4th choice. Would be nicer when Rosenior is back though.

Was Barry Rees the Liverpool lad who was killed in a car crash in the early 70s? I remember he was highly rated. It was before my time supporting Albion...

Signed from Everton, but believe he was from Rhyl.

1964 on his way home for the weekend with his folks back home in Rhyl. He was signed from Everton and not a loanee as suggested by someone else.

If that's in order I'd move Rosenior up one in both the left and right back slots and put Bruno behind Hunemeier in the centre back list.

Makes sense. It was in a sort of order but I probably relegated Rosenior just because of fitness worries. Is Bruno ok for centre back?

Cheshire Cat

The most curious thing..
Whilst adding my wishes for a speedy recovery to Mr.Goldson, may l also ask, who the hell replaces him tomorrow then? I guess it has to be Hunemeier.

At a more perverse level, it's a shame this wasn't picked up a week ago. There would have been a chance of bringing in a replacement then.

How close is Rosenior to returning?

Murray - he seems to spending a lot of time in the wrong penalty area recently.

I'm sure with the right rehab & recovery Connor will come back strong, he will naturally be thinking the worst. I did after a heart attack 6 years ago at 38 whilst running. Now just a blip in history..
