I notice two of my Palace mates have LIKED that post. :lolol: :lolol: :lolol: :lolol:

But surely a lot of what they say is correct? It's more the delivery style and hypocrisy that's amusing? AND THE CAPS.

But we keep getting told how wonderfully rosy everything is at palace.

Why don't the malcontents post about the palace fan misery on NSC ?

I assumed you were joking, but no.

It's here: https://www.facebook.com/Holmesdale...41825.191006134377665/985628208248783/?type=3

It seems their utter tinpottery now extends to t-shirt cannons. It really is quite incredible. Still, the American owners, who have absolutely no history nor connection with the club at all, must

quite like those.

At least when we did it, it was for just a few games and largely to the family stand.

Oh well, onward and upward.

All joking aside, when I saw this done at the Chicago bulls (and also the baseball cap drop from the rafters) I was lucky enough to catch one without dropping the weak as piss beer I was imbibing. In an attempt to get another one to keep more.of my nephews happy, I was told it was a limited edition cap that I could buy a duplicate of but it would cost 50 dollars due to the rare nature.

I doubt any selhurst Park t-shirt will have that value

As the American owners are beginning to get a mention it's worth pointing out they also own the Philadelphia 76'ers.

The NBA team currently stand at:-

Won 9 (nine) lost 24.

Their record since taking ownership in the 2013/14 season stands at:-

Won 66 lost 223.

The final season before they took ownership:-

Won 34 lost 48.

Somehow I don't think being the worst football team in England is a problem for them.

I think you are correct, but I would suggest the financial loss if relegated would certainly be a problem.

The devil's in the detail.

It's no secret Parrish was whoring the club, around the world, looking for cash.
He might have needed to slip in some guarantees to get the deal over the line.
It wouldn't have been much of a risk to them, what with European football just around the corner.

We'll find out in time.

The Ice Hockey team are doing well too:

2013–present: Harris–Blitzer era
The Devils' longtime financial struggles worsened during the 2012–13 season, and at one point the team needed to borrow $30 million to meet their payroll. This prompted owner Jeff Vanderbeek to sell the team. Ultimately, the team was sold to Josh Harris, owner of the NBA's Philadelphia 76ers, and David S. Blitzer, for over $320 million. During the offseason, Kovalchuk announced he would retire from the NHL, expressing a desire to return home to Russia along with his family. In addition, 30-goal scorer David Clarkson also left the Devils, signing a 7-year deal with Toronto. With the departures of Parise and now Kovalchuk and Clarkson, the Devils were in desperate need of offensive help. In an effort to full the void, the Devils signed veteran Jaromir Jagr, who despite being 41 years old, led the team scoring in the 2013–14 season. During the 2013 NHL Entry Draft, hosted in Newark, the Devils acquired goaltender Cory Schneider from Vancouver in exchange for the Devils' first round draft pick. Schneider split goaltending duties with the 41-year-old Brodeur, which led to some controversy over who should be the starting goalie for the Devils. Despite Schneider's 1.97 goals against average leading the NHL, the Devils missed the playoffs by five points due to lagging offensive production. In the 2014 offseason, the Devils saw the departure of NHL all-time wins leader Martin Brodeur, who was not re-signed and subsequently joined the St. Louis Blues.

The 2014–15 season opened with the Devils' roster suffering with injuries, and consequently the team accumulated losses. On December 26, Peter DeBoer was fired from the head coach position. To replace him, Lamoriello invested in two head coaches, former Devils player Scott Stevens (who had been DeBoer's assistant for two years) and Adam Oates, with Lamoriello himself supervising the team during the first months. The Devils finished the season as the sixth-worst team in the League, 20 points away from a playoff spot and with just one victory in the last 11 games.

Does any of that sound familiar?

And the strife goes on. The ownership details have been posted at companies house and it appears that the Fab four only own around 30% of the club and some fans feel they have sold out and the Yanks now control the club. Shame

Ownership of details of the Palace Holdco now up at companies house. Figures being rounded roughly show

Steve P - 18%
Steve B - 5%
Martin L - 2.5%
Jeremy H - 5%
Palace Holdco LP (a limited partnership registered in Delaware) 67.5%
Palace Parallel LLC (a company also registered in Delaware) - 1.5%
In addition both Palace Holdco and Palace Parallel have 180 preference shares each.

Innovative and forward thinking club, leading the way. Can't wait for games at Shathurst to be split into quarters for more "important messages from our sponsors". :)
