I have also seen a player in demand elsewhere.... a player that wants to move further north, a player who has looked a little jaded in the last few months... and not because he is knackered either.
Just because I think he will go, doesn't mean I want us to cockk up the season.

I'd add to that I would think he'd want to stay and be part of winning something whether that is the league or just promotion. From his body language and attitude on the pitch he's clearly a big part of the togetherness and team spirit in the squad. Why wouldn't he want to stay and win something significant with his team mates. I'd be amazed if he went now unless he's offered ridiculous money and are Burnley the team to do that when they only increase bids for him by 50p every time they make an approach

Been watching a different player to me then. I've been watching Dale Stephens, the one putting his foot in and throwing his weight around all over the pitch. Are you suggesting that CH has not noticed this lack of effort either, or that he deems the player so crucial that he plays him regardless?

He is a key player... never said he wasn't, but he is not signing a contract, he is doing enough to keep his profile up, but I don't think he is as dynamic as he was... I think he wants out.

We don't want players who ca 'do a job'.
We want to keep our best players and get promoted.
The money Bloom would get for Stephens is peanuts compared to promotion.

Its not really being pedantic ... from what ive seen I would disagree that over the last couple of months he has been any less the player than last season ..despite that he's not playing alongside Kayal....but as you say we will see

Lampard would be ok for 20 mins but wouldnt offer as much over 90 mins as Dale Stephens does.
