This year it is all about the saffron infused rose water, which really brings out the earthy quality of the turkey

Seriously? Who wants a hot roast in 40 degrees - crayfish salad and prawns for us most likely.....

Well, I'll be having turkey in the garden at around 34 degrees (fingers crossed). It was lovely last year sitting in the shade of the tree. Prawns are always tempting but preferably with peri peri sauce and rice rather than salad. Keep it spicy!

I'm having a 5 bird roast this year, succulent and juicy, should be one of the best yet.

Thought you lived in Perth?

"It is time for Christmas. Santa secretly adores Perth as the weather is impeccable. While temperatures average around 22 degrees,
the sea water temperature steadies at 20 degrees. Receiving twelve hours of sunshine on average, Perth presents the perfect opportunity to unwrap your presents at the gorgeous shores of Rockingham Beach."

Probably a capon (castrated cockerel fattened for eating) and a big joint of beef.
