I suspect Hughton might be off to maybe West Ham or another lower premier league club. Harry Redknapp as replacement.

Let's wait until he is on the road to Norwich before we bid. If not Hogan, I still expect a Blackman-Derby or Rhodes-Boro style signing.
I like this idea. Call him, offer him double what norwich offer, bring him over for a medical, and then as the transfer deadline is reached, just don't bother.

IN: Jerome Sinclair from Watford on loan as cover for Baldock.
Can't see us being interested in bringing Ulloa back. We have Murray (who I could see us signing permanently) and Hemed to play centrally and two with a track record as scorers should be enough.
Zak Clough would be an interesting option but I don't think it likely to happen. I do think we need an attacking midfielder. We've got the resource to bring a 3rd man into midfield to defend a lead but need to be able to put someone in there to chase a game. Towell may be that man but if not it makes sense to get someone in.

OUT: LuaLua and Ince on loan. Manu offloaded if we can.

Bold prediction there by Trig. Hope your right mind.

I don't know if I'd be so kind as to call it a prediction. Just the ramblings of an old man.
I don't know if I'd be so kind as to call it bold either.

All you're saying is the club will buy a striker.
Any 1st team striker will smash the Albion's transfer record which currently stands at somewhere between £2.5 and £4.5m.

I'm a bit surprised so many people are saying Towell and Ince out on loan.

We currently have six midfielders; if we send two out on loan, we'll have four. One of those is currently injured and not due back for about a month (at least), one has been sent off twice in the last six months, so is a good bet for a suspension and one is just about to turn 34 so it's going to be more liable in injury - it would be a high risk strategy to loan out both remaining midfielders for the rest of the season.

I can see Ince going, his career has stalled a bit and may need a fresh start but I certainly reckon Towell will be in CH's plans. I'd certainly expect to see him the FA Cup game and it wouldn't shock me to see him in the 18 at some point. Can't see any room for KLL or Manu though - they'll go as soon as someone will take them off our hands.

Sure there'll be a striker coming in but it will be someone we've not considered

Striker has to be the priority and I'd hope that we have one already lined up. I think we need someone with pace to create room for Knocky etc to work as the last few teams to come to us have all tried to squeeze up to the half way line to take advantage of our lack of pace upfront. Elsewhere Pocognoli hasn't really threatened Bong position and I wonder if he may be sent back and replaced with someone who will. Other than those two positions I would expect us to leave things pretty much as they are.

Manu can go but I can't see a queue prepared to spend money on him so probably another loan. Lua Lua I think we might keep. This season has been a write off so far but he does have the ability to change games from the bench and with such an important period of games ahead I think CH will want to keep him.

The Murray-Baldock partnership is the best in the Championship according to my one eyed bias opinion. Hemed offers great cover for Murray but who will replace Sam if he picks up an injury or suffers a catastrophic loss of form. This is our priority.
