he's so far played 73 minutes of Championship football for Norwich in 3 appearances.

Did start and play a full game (89 minutes) for Norwich in the League Cup third round v Everton which they lost 2-0.

Wrong...

Think the reference is to the score. Norwich beat Everton 2-0 in the EFL cup...

Ha ! Fair enough :)

But me being pedantic aside, those stats about minutes played are shocking for someone who allegedly went for a deal worth £10mil or so with add ons...

Not if it was a deliberate ploy to stop him coming here.........in the same way that we've refused big bids for players because of the value of going up, perhaps they thought it was with 10m to stop us strengthening.......fanciful perhaps but there is so much money riding on the PL now I wouldn't rule it out

No chance they'd target one club esp us... Think that's a conspiracy theory myself - not for £10mil would a club do that in this league!

Still early days though isn'i it? Norwich management would presumably argue they're gradually easing him into the team.

And wouldn't they have signed him as a long-term replacement for Hoolahan, who's nearing the end of his career? I'm sure Pritchard will play plenty for them this season and even more next.

Yes true - expensive project though - for £10mil you'd think a club like Norwich would want an instant player etc... But like you say early days, but still a shocking stat..

I'm wondering if the Norwich management team has realised he's not as good as they first thought. 2 PL games for Spurs, and a few bit part appearances for West Brom don't strike me as the performances of a £10m player.
