I don't need to, Vaz was paying 2 male prostitutes for unprotected anal sex and all the trimmings. He was willing to fund their coke habits and wanted to bring along amyl nitrate to help proceedings along.

On that basis it's fair to say they weren't going to bake a cake.

As an MP, he's perfectly entitled to have a second bone!

Strewth, was Mary Berry there too? If so the BBC should have put it on pay per view. It would have got incredible ratings.

Mary would have been appalled that Keith didn't thoroughly mix in the Brazilian caviar into his cake, it's little wonder he ended up with a soggy bottom.........

Hasn't good old Keith got some 6 homes around the UK...........a true man of the people.

On a more serious note though I only realised yesterday that his sister is MP for Walsall South...........I'm sure her appointment was entirely on her own merits.

Radio 4 said that pressure was mounting on Keith Vaz to step down.

Nice to know that if someone high up does it with a consenting adult it's horrifying but when it's with a child it just 'didn't happen'.

As mentioned earlier in the thread, I reckon "Jim" must have really pissed off someone else in the Labour Party for The Mirror to have run this sting / story. I wonder who tipped them off.

I must be out of touch with the law - is it legal to pay for sex?

Broadly speaking neither do I however in this case we are not dealing with some no mark Herbert smoking puff in his parents box room with his mates.

No, in this case we are talking about an elected MP, who is chair of the Parliamentary Home Affairs Committee and member of the Labour Party's NEC seeking to engage in multiple acts of unprotected buggery with male Romanian prostitutes high on cocaine.

The 2 matters are quite quite different.........

Point of order, he clearly said on the sting that he didn't do cocaine & wouldn't do any. So just the male buggery with Romanian prostitutes then. He's got to do something with his Tuesday nights though

Effectively? They are prostitutes, aren't they?

I find it curious that many of the media reporting this story describe them as "escorts". That often seems to happen when people of power are involved. What's the difference between a prostitute and an escort? Is it a term that the users prefer, in order to make it feel less seedy?
I always thought Escorts were downmarket. Granadas were better.

The Telegraph yesterday quotes Vaz as claiming to be a "washing-machine salesman". He certainly had a taste for twin tubby models..

Nigel will protest about that - "what's wrong with non-EEC male prostitutes?"

About £50 an hour when I last had one.

Its the same with soft fruit spraeds. i found that when i sold jars of balckberry jam at Hassocks summer market all i could get was £1.50 a jar, but when i stuck on a label of a sqirrel and a checkerbord lid with a napkin round it tied with an elastic band i got £3.75 for the same stuff.
