So you honestly expect that to be the top five?

I don't think Norwich will be in the top 5. Their manager doesn't have the ''know how'' - The team CH built their has now been dismantled and it he went up the last time with someone else's team. They totally imploded in the 2nd part of last season and their recruitment to date has been awful

There is always a bounce back when a new manager comes in and especially with his record and contacts, I can see him choosing replacements and enhancements very quickly.

That's what I thought about Hyypia.

I'm not convinced by RDM as a manager, or Villa as a serious promotion contender.

He has decent Football League experience with MK Dons (L1 play off final) and West Brom (Championship runners up) as well as experience in the Premier League and Champions League. so I think he is quite possibly the best candidate Villa could have chosen and expect them to piss the division unfortunately :(

I wouldn't be so sure.

If you take Leeds United out of the equation, I think Alex Neil will be the first manager sacked in the Championship.

He was appointed under the David Mc Nally (Chief Exec) ''watch'' - He is now gone so his jacket is on a ''shaky nail'' already

That could be true. Neil took them up so had enough credit to survive relegation but, if they don't have a good start, he might be gone after 10 or 15 games. Or they could have a great start and he'll be a hero.

Can anyone think of a better player, who is nippy, scores goals and has a decent scoring record at this level or higher who is available for less than £8M? If so let's sign them.

I can't so would be very happy with nickynacky wells

If that is the limit of your ambitions then go and support a TINPOT team instead of the Albion

I was of the same opinion............I like Wells as a player and I think in a good side he will score goals but I also thought you need to aim just that bit higher to attain the Premiership but clubs are just quoting silly silly money for their players

Goal scorers cost a lot of money SHOCKER.

The club has fudged this one purchase throughout the entirety of the AMEX, and the intransigence has cost Mr Bloom hundreds of millions of pounds.
4 forwards on the cheap and nearly 20 loanees have resulted in sweet FA.

All the while goal scorers have got ever more expensive.

In what world is Vydra better than Wells? He scored 3 goals all last season in 31 games. Wells would be a much better option.

I get what you're saying but, i think Vydra would be superb alongside Hemed or Murray, worked well with Troy Deeney, so think he would do well here.

Wouldn't mind forestierri too!

Agree he had a bad season (who wouldn't at Reading?!) but that doesn't make him a bad player all of a sudden.
Reckon he would be the perfect partner for Murray or Hemed and would score a hatful in our team with the service he'd get

I still like Vydra, he's only 24 and missed out on the Euros with Czech so will be fresh. He's trying to impress the new Watford manager but with Deeney, Ighalo, Jerome Sinclair and Isaac Success Ajayi ahead of him in the pecking order he won't get the game time.

He'd be a great fit for us alongside Murray, I fancy he'd get the service from our wingers and get his confidence back. His technique as a finisher is superb.
