Quiet a bit of tension between these after the match in Northern Ireland

They stood up to the Germans WW2 and lost 25m - cowardly? I think not.
They didnt ''stand up'' to germany at all, they had the von ribbentrop pact and were their pals until the Germans turned on them.

It was in the news, just not reported much as it was a minor scuffle. Apparently French attacking NI and Poles, not NI vs Poland.

We always have been, we are, and I hope that we always shall be detested in France.

I wonder if the press will report this....

I honestly think the French hate us, and are still mad that English is most counties second if not first language. You hear stories of French police targeting drivers just before tunnel issuing fines to drivers for no reason, and people having to pay them quickly or miss the ferry or train. They hate us and are enjoying seeing us get a kicking by locals and Russians...

Ridiculous generalisation.

They hate holding back the refugees in camps on its north coast they will love us to exit the EU and they will help them cross the channel and thousands will follow. Blame Borris and Fararge.

The deal we have with the French means border controls are on the French side. This is a bi lateral agreement, nothing to do with the EU. If they wanted to stop this they could have done it years ago.

You also identify why they have a vested interest in continuing this arrangement. Waving migrants through would increase the flow of people through France to reach the channel coast leading to even more chaotic scenes in France. Plus of course having the Channel (one of the worlds busiest shipping lanes) resemble the Mediterranean migrant crossing points wouldn't be in anyone's interest.

It's started though judging by the boat which capsized just off Hastings yesterday

When you think of the terror threat & everything the French are dealing with, makes behaviour of these England "fans" even more embarrassing
