Really toying with the idea of Season Tickets for me and my son.

It would cost a small fortune travelling down from reading every other week and there will be the whole midweek moves that would scupper things BUT I get a bonus on Friday which ends up about £1,000 after tax and I could put that toward our season tickets and then into savings for petrol!

Very, VERY tempting. yet I believe the wife has plans for said bonus

I have 2 tickets and a 160 mile round trip from Faversham. Its worth it, trust me

I'm not from Brighton but my dad took me to quite a few games over the years. Once it's in your blood that's it. My four kids are all brainwashed now

I'm not from Brighton and my dad didn't take me. If he did i would be seated at Craven Cottage now.

I wonder if the club has done any follow up on those people who have given up having a season ticket because it makes sense to me to see a) whether that decision could be reversed b) what changed peoples mind and could it impact others. Of course it might be the novelty factor which has now worn of.

that didn't answer my question,
how many do you reckon will just sit on a ST for the fun of it

But it's such a boring question. Furthermore, it's one that you've asked a hundred or more times before. Why the constant digging at our fans and club? I genuinely do not understand your stance.

Allow the North Stand to be a fully functional stand up singing stand. ..... encouraged by the club.... and supported by the various rival singing mobs....and all will be well..... allow the North to be a bit of a lads zone....there are plenty of other areas for those not keen.

Yes they do. We only renewed 2 of our 3, as my eldest is heading off to Uni. You can't even process the cancellation without filling out a questionnaire they send you.

Zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz

But, just to put aside your constant negative dullness, for a second....

1. ****ing LOADS. More than have 'actually turned up' than at pretty much any era in the club's history. And guess what? They're enjoying it. You really ought to try it.

2. None. Zero. Not a single person spends £400 plus on a little piece of plastic, just because it is 'fun' to keep in their wallet. Some can't make every game, granted - that's a shame - I'm sure they'd rather be at all of them.

3. The whole 'there are thousands who have tickets and never turn up' suggestion is complete bollocks anyway. We have 20k+ STH. Every game SOME don't show - sometimes as many as a couple of thousand. It's only morons who think it's the SAME people who are missing every time. Think about it - 2000 missing of 22,000 means that effectively each STH is missing TWO matches per season. Really not in the slightest bit out of the ordinary.

About 19K.

According to the Football League's numbers:

2012/13 - 22,467
2013/14 - 23,175
2014/15 - 21,245

The updated report, covering the previous season, tends to be published around the start of each season.

Got a feeling it was slightly more than 19k - I think over 20 without even counting the X hundred half season ticket peeps but I could be wrong.

Completely right. Also, we're fortunate enough to have many kids as STHs (possibly one reason is he fair pricing) and its noticeable that there's more gaps in the Eaat stand for evening games which is fair enough. It's still good value to get your kid a ST and miss 6 of the 23 games for example.
