I thought the Mel reveal was very good and confirms a long-standing theory. She's basically lost her faith - and like all good religious zealots will have her faith restored and come back stronger. Banterous Dothraki were good too, lucky there are 'rules' about what you can and can't do with a Khal's wife eh?

Pretty sure Stannis is not dead.

Also they treat the Dorne subplot as a inconvenience...Prince Doran is such a good character in the books and such a great actor playing him. A waste, in favour of the incredibly boring and irritating Sand Snakes.

So, what did we think to all of that then?

The only other alternative storyline was him warging into Ghost, and it was clear that hadn't happened in the first episode. The question now is how much he's changed, if at all, and how it'll affect his leadership of the nights watch, if he stays there at all.

I personally think his future is elsewhere - the Night's Watch oath 'expires' on death after all, so he has a get out clause there.

What about Ramsay and Roose and Walda? That was intense!

That was a seriously good episode, they did well to keep that secret. Can't actually believe how they managed that.

It's got to be elsewhere hasn't it. Especially with so few episodes left in the grander scheme of things. A potential meet up with Danny and Tyrion for some 3 headed dragon riding sounds about right.

It's nice to see Ramsey starting the season in such expected form. That dog scene was sick really, but he does make for a brilliant bad guy.

By the look of the trailer for next week, we may well get the show's answer to R+L=J.

My theory.

Jon Snow, Tyrion Lannister and Daenerys are all Targaryens. All 3 had mothers that died at child birth.

The Dragon has three heads...

A good theory especially as Tyrion didn't get eaten by the dragons. I think Bran is going to find out the truth about JS in the tower.

The Troubadour
If Tyrion is a Targaryen then so would Cersei and Jaime .

All had the same mother.

May be alone here but I am pretty underwhelmed by the current series, so far.
