7000 for any away game is fantastic. We have a little run of away games now that would be really well attended if they were saturday fixtures.
Birmingham (tue night) guaranteed to take 2500 if on a Saturday
Charlton we will sell out 4000
Forest (mon) would have taken 3000

Let's not forget that 6 years ago we were not getting 7000 for home matches.

Oh do one. Id rather not forget that we had 34000 for Rochdale in the third division. Idiot.

Back when TV's were black & white watching a game at the goldstone was little more than pocket change & jimmy saville was a respected radio DJ.

Football has changed it is now an expensive pastime.

true though isnt it.
No. You're saying we don't want success, but we do. But wanting to win doesn't make you win. Recent decades have been characterised by Archer, not by us having no ambition, and you can't say Mr Bloom hasn't made great strides in improving us both on and off the pitch. Yes you can look back over the last 100 years and say we've under achieved, but it's not because we don't want success.

You're like a child that didn't get what he wanted at Christmas. Is it because you didn't want lots of presents? Or is it because life's like that, and you don't always get what you want?

Any chance of getting a bigger ticket allowance at Charlton? Not sure if Charlton have sold tickets to away sides in the end sections of the main stand? Guess segregation would prevent this.

Very unlikely. Bournemouth managed to agree another 1400 for their promotion win last season but picked up the cost of relocating their fans to other parts of the crowd and the extra stewarding. Given the state charlton are in I doubt the club or the fans would want the inconvenience. It's feasible that we could be sending them down when we play them.

Yes, but they have double-sold seats in there before, perhaps they will try to squeeze a few more in again.

I doubt they double sell. It's always a free for all at Charlton. No one goes to their allocated seat, which is why it's always a great raucous day out!

I cant quite get my head around why Charlton are where they are in the league , i thought they were one of the best teams to come to the Amex and that was without their striker Vetokele , no doubt he will return from injury just in time for our visit along with Vydra who just seems to be fit to play us then bugs out again for 5 months

Possible 7000 Albion Fans For MK?

Wow! If that is so, it must be our biggest away following for some years. Can anyone think of the last time we had that many going away? (Not including Play-Off finals/ FA Cup semi and final). Did we not take 6000 to Aston Villa and Liverpool for recent cup games - but in the league? :albion2:

we had a good turnout at Tottenham too also in the cup,but in fairness i stated i thought that we would only take high 3s in the other thread still with tickets priced at 15 to 20 years ago it perhaps no surprise i was wrong, still great turnout...lets hope we have plenty of this
