I just crank it up, call her bluff and retain the higher ground. Its a game of call my bluff but never let yourself be trampled down, show her who's'e wearing the trousers!!! (then hide away for a few hours until the dust has settled and normal service can be resumed!!!)
This. Tough it out. You'll get some quiet time and quite possibly the telly to yourself. She'll crack eventually.

Grrr.. get it right people. It's not 'thumb in a softy' - whatever that means.

It's 'I folded it in' - Fireman Dan fans will be beside themselves.

I too was thinking of the thread that bought us such gems as:

"in my defence i have been boshing them out over this bird for a long long time"

"i decided to go for the so drunk approach.....
never ever use this line.....
babe im so sorry,i was so drunk,i even had too fold it in....

i have never heard a noise like the noise she made while repeatly smacking my head with her mobile phone....."

"in a way im thinking i would do anything to get her back....
maybe write her a poem or a song
but then the cxnt comes out in me and im thinking fxck her i can do better, and her axe wound stinks.."

So the overriding consensus is that all of us are shit scared of our partners...... I know I am. She's 5"1 but has the jab combination of Floyd Mayweather.

Just keep agreeing with her without necessarily apologising. That usually throws them long enough to calm down.

If that doesn't work then something sparkly is a big help (and I don't mean spandex!).

Can get a bit pricey though so try agreeing with whatever nonsense they come out with first.

You'll know when you're in real trouble if she starts complaining about your ex and how you obviously preferred her.

Denying this is completely useless, of course, and pointing out that she's an ex for a reason equally so but, hey, would we swap them?!

I wonder if Kelly Brook is available .......? It would be worth the grief, I think!

I wasn't quoting anybody. Its just an expression used to describe a trying to have it off with a lady after a few drinks. Mine certainly isn't big enough to fold it in.

Show her Zamora's back heel for the Tomer Hemed goal.

Always works for me.
Always? So your first relationship started less than a week ago. Fair enough, makes sense.

;)

Just don't do anything. Go about your usual business and wait until she realises that you've not actually done anything wrong or intentionally upset her. Chances are you haven't - fireman Dan excepted.
