They could offer tickets for 50p with free travel from Sussex and I'd still refuse to give that disgusting parasitical club even so much as a penny.
but our lot on the other hand are falling over themselves to line MK Dons pocket , modern day football has no class

Conversely, a lot of people are using it as an opportunity to watch the Albion without it being too expensive. Nobody is using this as an excuse to make MK a load of money. Try not being such a pessimistic old fart for once.

I'm in. Just don't drink or buy anything at the ground.

My sister in law lived between Northampton and Milton Keynes for a while and whenever we went up there for a weekend she dragged us shopping - because that's all there is to do. Honestly I think I'd rather live in Grimsby or Stoke, at least they've got character. Plastic shithole of a town that looks like it was designed by being thrown up by somewhere fairly grim in the Mid West that survived thanks to its WalMart and garish, strip lit bars. Then some c:censored:t added some roundabouts for a laugh. The plasticness extends right down to their crappy ground full of Spurs supporting Tobys who only know songs to the tune of Sloop John B.

You'd find more historic charm and character in Perth, Australia and better restaurants in Khartoom. Ghastly place. And Bletchley is its arse end

In fairness there's a lot more industry in MK than Brighton

All tips greatfully received, because last time was appalling (Bletchley)

Walk straight up the main street, around 20 minute walk to some very pleasant drinking venues

Pub tips welcome. Didn't think there were ANY decent ones in MK.

There aren't and it is a small village outside of Milton Keynes called Fenny Stratford, you can get a direct train from Bletchley

Whining and moaning constantly on the internet about ticket prices, beer prices, crowds, atmosphere, fans, it's never as good as the old days etc etc etc, but never actually going to games, home or away - now that's class

Definitely will take advantage of this now, wasn't even entering my thoughts otherwise. Looks like it'll be up to us to create the atmosphere, which I'm sure we will do! Scarf is at the ready for half hour of 'Ring of Fire'

Wouldn't it be ace if (say) 5000 Albion fans turned up, and not a single pie, pint, hot dog, Mars Bar or cup of tea was bought in the away end?

Won't happen, of course, but it would be a lovely statement to make.
Each to their own of course, but why cling on to this anger about this clubs existence. Yes, it was a messy scenario at the point of inception, yes I would have hated it if it was my club but at the end of the day, AFC are back almost where they left off, and MKD have brought football to a new set of fans which for you football 'missionaries' can only be a good thing in the long run.... surely?!!?

That'll do it, I was going to write 'enough already', but I think that's a teeny-weeny bit better

Anyhoo my reason for writing, combining 2 threads.
This one and the 'why can't the north stand ...' thread.

They'll be thousands of Albion fans.
The away support has never been questioned when talking about the silence of the Goldstone, Pissfields, Withdean & AMEX.

So let's ticker-tape, toilet roll, banner etc the shite out of their ground, ramp up the support, with the added bonus of the Albion not having to clean up the mess.

Shirley everyone's a winner.

Inclined to agree, the area need a team. What happened was tragic and should never happen again but need to move on. I usually bring a flask of coffee and penguin!!
