I'm so fed up with these idiots trying to find racism when there isn't any in the first place. These people are slowly starting to look like complete idiots.

A gunfight erupted in the Grande-Synthe migrant camp in northern France overnight with "forty shots fired", four wounded, and special police sent in to quell clashes thought to involve rival banks of smugglers.

Two men were treated overnight for gunshot wounds, a third for stab wounds and a woman for blows to the head.

Four people were being held for questioning on charges of attempted voluntary homicide, according to prosecutors at nearby Dunkirk.

Police believe the fight erupted between rival people smuggling gangs against a backdrop of simmering tensions between Muslims and Christians in the camp.

David Michaux, a CRS anti-riot officer from the Unsa-police union, told Le Figaro: "There is a real problem of Muslims and non-Muslims. Most of the camp's 3,000-odd occupants are Muslim Kurds from Iraq, Iran and Syria but a minority are Christians from Iran.

"The Muslims are trying to expel the Christians from the camp," Mr Michaux claimed.


In that case in my opinion the Christians from Iran should be given sanctuary in the UK , the Muslims can rot there .

Muslims trying to expel Christians, and they are bringing all this rubbish to our doorsteps. It's a pity more of our media don't report on things like this and tell people the truth, instead of the political parties in this country making everyone feel guilty saying we should be doing more.

Are you for real? A lot of people are rightly worried about the disparity of cultures and religions. You then dare to mention a symbol of Nazi oppression which for most people was an evil and utterly repellent prelude to bestial acts. The obvious assumption is that you equate those now concerned about migration/immigration/integration with the most evil historical regime on the planet. Is that assumption right?

As previously stated years ago, Sweden have been having trouble over the years. They just let anyone in, much like Germany are doing now.
Seems they are having a rethink.

It is a subject worthy of debate. But maybe we should have a single thread. It seems that every time an issue arises, generally a disturbing one, the same folk seem to start a new stream of dialogue. Just one thread might make it a bit more compact and focused. Who knows ? It might even top the Calleri entry count, if that were possible.
