They probably want another player who can understand Greer and Murphy :)

He would not come as back-up so who are you going to drop? Stephens, Keyal? For a big time Charlie that wants to score from the half way line?
We wouldn't pay his wages so it's a no brainer.

Also Wolves to Sheffield is just about commutable. If he went to them then he wouldn't need to move away from his family - that stuff can play a big factor on where a player ends up.

These aren't the players you're looking for.

Fatty Adams is his nickname up North.

Jan Molby was also a bit of a Lardy, but he did alright.

Stick Adams between a couple of mobile players like Kayal and Stephens and he would fit in nicely, pinging those lovely 40 yard passes for Wilson to run onto. Yes please.

Seeing as he is Scottish, based in Stoke now and has only played north of Watford, forget it - but what do I know....

If he was up for the fight it would be amazing, slightly concerned he would just be here for a paycheck though.

Also, we have midfielders coming out of our ears as it is.

If Kayal and Stephens weren't playing we would be a weaker team with the "others". Adam is better than the majority of what we have, so I'm in.

It's a yes from me. Too many cream puffs in our midfield.

He would be a cracking signing. One of our weaknesses this season has been the reliance on Kayal and Stephens. Adam is a huge upgrade on Crofts who appears to be third choice in there. We would be able to rotate Adam with Kayal & Stephens, and having those three in the centre when we put five in midfield would be tremendous.

It's a big yes for me

Interested to hear how people would see a starting XI with Adam in the squad.
4-3-3 perhaps, or maybe 4-4-2, but with only one winger, who would swap wings. Or perhaps like Stumpy Tim suggests, rotate our three CMs.

Think I'll just leave it for CH to work out..............................
(Personally I can't see this deal happening, somehow)
