I'd take a half fit BZ over the useless Hemed!

Hang on a minute, Hemed certainly isn't useless!, his goals earlier in the season prove that, and he continues to run himself into the ground for the good of the team, but I do admit that he is going through a very barren spell on the goal scoring front, that free header, that he ballooned over the barbeing a prime example of that. He will start scoring again, all players go through periods where the goals dry up for a while.

I actually think that we missed playing with ther extra striker last night, and maybe Bobby, if he was incujded for the start would have made a difference.

I can see why Crofts started the game, to try and strengthen the midfield, but I thought it might have been one of the wide players who would have missed out, Murphy perhaps.

Zamora and Hemed don't really work as a pair and Wilson was clearly not fit enough to start. After Brentford, where Stephens and Kayal were outnumbered and dominated in the first half and Crofts really improved things in the second half, it was a sensible decision from Hughton in my view with the plan of using Wilson and Zamora in the second half.
ok....i'll go along with that but eff me drunk weneed to get the ball in the effin' net...!!

Pretty well known he struggles to do more than 55/60 mins

I would imagine he can't do three games in a short period of time

Have you ever thought that accurately aimed criticism of last season may just have inspired Chris Hughton and TB to prove the knockers.

Last nights refusal by CH was wrong even though poster on here will imply bobby MAY have an injury.

I call it MOTIVATION, if every fan licked everyone where would we be...................................an orgy???

Are you having a laugh? Seriously? You think fans slagging off players encourages them to improve. What a joke.

Another who's not really been around since we've been doing well but delights in coming back when we lose (and calling any fans who support the team lickers). How pathetic.

Actually, I applauded our signings this summer, although pointing out that Baldock wasn't good enough, so was hoping we would sign JC or similar (as the club clearly wanted to do).

Your post is so full of sh1t. You really need to get your facts straight.

And how dare you question my support for our team.

Pointing out an obvious selection error by our manager doesn't mean I am a poor supporter. I hope, one day, you can understand that.

I definitely remember you moaning in July that we hadn't signed enough players already. Whatever you might say about supporting the team, in this thread you've called people sticking up for Hughton lickers, you've basically accused Hughton of lying about Zamora not being fit enough and this after not posting a lot of praise when we're doing well. Whatever you might say about your support, it does seem that some on here (and you're one of them) seem to post a lot more when we're losing and revel in being able to criticise.

It wasn't so much you pointing out an error by Hughton, as I would have started with Zamora if he'd been fit, it's more that you go further than that and then, when Hughton says he's not fit to start, basically accuse him of lying. It's hardly constructive.

So you would be happy if Zamora came on, played for 30-45mins and then was subbed? If so fair enough. But I can absolutely see why Hughton would not want to be guaranteed to burn a sub regardless of what is happening in the game so early.

Burning a sub? That's the least of Hughton's worries. I remember the time when players played on mudheaps, smoked fags and drank in their spare time and there was only one sub - three subs is a bit of a luxury to be honest.

If all we can get out of Bobby is half an hour per match then why the hell didn't we sign another striker before we got rid of both Colunga and O'Grady? There might be more to it than meets the eye but from what I can see I'd be starting Bobby and subbing him at half-time.

So which player did I slag off?

Me not being around has nothing to do with how well we have been doing, I have had four of the craziest months since I have been on this planet. However I may just be about more over the next few months.....so lucky you.

Lickers in my term equals a poster who are so blinkered it is beyond belief. I do not use this Licker tag to often so you should feel SPECIAL.

In Hughton post match interview he implied that bobby couldn't start..........please Chris tell us why???

Quality is needed when your best team isn't available, so get Zamora playing as many minutes as possible.

I do hope Chris isn't going all defensive again.

His age and fitness over the past couple of seasons probably limits him to around 30 mins playing time, it was unreal when it was announced he was signing for us a number of fans were convinced he was a 20 goals a season striker.

Kazenga. Lualua.

For the past however many seasons people have been calling for him to regularly start. Wanting him to be used from the start. So what if there are questions over his fitness, use him until he tires, then take him off.

Along comes Chris Hughton, uses him as a starter in every game through to late September. Now where is he? Oh yes, been out due to injury for three months.

The club know the fitness levels and limitations of the players. I suspect that is a major factor in how we use Bobby Zamora.

I was never a believer that lord Bob was a 20 a season man but he must be close to a dozen given game time. He has always said I will play as much as I am wanted he certainly has 45 in him if not 60. He must be leading the way in goals per minutes let's use him I say.

I love how everyone has ignored the comments from people like Stockdale that Bobby Z had to be CARRIED in the LIFT to the players lounge after matches because HE CANNOT WALK, and we have seen for ourselves on the pitch after 60 minutes he physically cannot run or move quickly. Yet people think we should be starting him

I can just se stockdale and co, with little grins on there face smirking at each other as they carry him to the lounge. Thinking ,
So this is the legend of zamora :)

The last time Zamora started he three games in a row, three Saturdays in a row. He scored a goal in each game. In the first two games played about 65 mins. In the last game he played 90 mins.

He hasn't started since. Don't start him every game - fine - but he should be starting more games than he has been. He's our best striker. He certainly should have started yesterday.

Zamora starting the match gives defenders something to think about
In the recent games where he hasn't started teams have pressured us knowing only Hemed is up front
We need him to start v Wolves with Wilson

Dear FS, you overstate the importance of NSC. AND the criticism was justified. You were wrong then, live with it. Also, I have carried on posting on this forum in good times for the club and bad, so you are just spouting utter, utter bollox AGAIN. Give it up man. You just look more and more stupid.

Bob was fit enough to play 30+ minutes, and did NOT look tired at the end of the game. His 'slight injury' (laughable phrase) was NOT in evidence. I trust my eyes. You trust the club's BS attempt to cover the selection error. If that makes you a better supporter (it doesn't), then you're welcome to it.

And, as per my previous post, I have carried on posting on here / praising and criticising the club as I see fit, throughout both good and bad times. So, basically, you are posting utter, utter inaccurate sh1t.

Except, KLL kick-started our season / record-breaking start to the season. And was the injury because he started games, or could it have happened if he came on as a sub? So where is your argument?

This, but I'm sure FS will just ignore these facts.
