Does the 16.45M Statement of capital on 21 Dec represent all the shares or just the new ones? Re-reading it - I think it's all of them in which case the new owners have:
(16.45 - 5.75) / 16.45 = 65%

No, you're right, 10,700,00 new shares have been allocated to the existing 5,750,000.

No worries, it's about as clear as mud at the moment.
The only thing we do know for certain is that Parish, Blitzer and Harris will each hold an equal share (generally quoted as 18% each) with the other three existing Palace shareholders reducing their holdings.

Parish confirmed this when he announced the investment.
The balance of the shares (46%) are held by the other three CPFC2010 consortium, plus, we understand, "other" shareholders. I understand one of the remaining three is the 4th largest shareholder.
Not sure what is preferred really - one owner i.e. you lot, or several ie. us. Time will tell. I suppose you are able to raise funds for investment easier with more owners, but I suppose it depends how deep your sole owners pockets are. Both Jordan and Goldberg ran out of money and we all know what happened then.

A priority ought to be removing the bay windows and net curtains from outside the main stand.
If the owners are all fans, then it doesn't matter whether one of them has deep pockets or they collectively a worth a fortune and are willing to spend it.
I'm not saying this because it's Palace, but the motives behind the new owners is the issue that you should be concerned about as much as anything else. Parish, Jordan and Goldberg all wanted the best for the club, the latter two overstretched themselves. Not sure what the Americans have in mind.

Indeed, not as well off as they were when a club, whose name I have forgotten, gifted them the striker who scored 30 goals in a season on a Bosman transfer, and in doing so have given them about £150 million to date.

You've alluded to this a few times el pres so it would be intriguing to know what you think their motives are . All I know is that we have been in discussions with them for 18 months and I don't think any of our 4 previous owners are naive businessmen . Of course the bottom line is they want a return on their investment but don't all business men ? They will get a good return on a successful club . Steve has said he does all the worrying for all of us and he seems happy in doing it . I trust Steve 100% and I hope this is the beginning of something special .

I don't think Parish wants a return necessarily, he's a fan and wants the club to do well on the park, just as you and I would do if we had spare cash. Tony Bloom isn't expecting to get money from the Albion, he just wants to see us promoted.
The Americans have no such emotional relationship with Palace, they see the investment purely in financial terms.

That's all true . If you don't get promoted this season do you think Tony will keep covering losses or get some others in to soften the blow ?
Depends on two things
1: How much spare cash he has (my understanding is that there is plenty).
2: What terms any new investor would want in terms of a stake in a club. How much would someone be prepared to pay for a minority investment in a business that loses £10-15 million a year? Under normal business rules you would say zero, but football is more complicated than that.
