I'm very indecisive of our team.

Bit of a barometer for both the team and CH.

I understood the Oscar tactics and the Poyet strategy, but I don't really understand CH, but results count.

Stats say 86% of goals are from open play. This is very encouraging, Mullery style.

Mostly because our set pieces are rubbish......

OK. That changes everything. We do not have a balanced midfield like that. In theory, it is a bit tricky as Boyd might be able to exploit our reserve full back on the left. How Kayal & Stephens will fare vs Barton & Jones is interesting. Match might well depend upon it.

I do not know what will happen. I think CH will match like for like and it could cancel both teams out or it it could open up in a tit for tat.

It is the Albion advantage to keep a closed game as our strikers are not as prolific. I would prefer Hemed to Vokes at a pinch though. Not much between them.

Predict 1-1. Albion will concede from a free kick just outside the box (weak point). Less sure of how we are going to score.

http://www.whoscored.com/Matches/958959/Preview They predict 2-1.

If I remember correctly, Arfield has played on the right against us on previous occasions?

Arfield and Boyd will most likely swap wings at some point, probably at half time. They've been at their best recently with Arfield on the right and Boyd on the left but Dyche seems to prefer them the other way around so they can cut inside.

Your guess is as good as mine on which wing they'll start the game.

Hambo's not in the squad for the u-21's against Wolves tonight, so safe to assume he'll be on the bench for Burnley? As don't think he's carry an injury at mo.

Stockdale
Bruno Hünemeier Dunk Rosenior
Murphy Crofts Kayal Stephens March
Zamora

Subs
Maenpaa; Calderon, Greer; Forster-Caskey, Holla; Baldock, Hemed
In the absence of Baldock, I think he'll play 451 on Sunday, the only choices he'll need to make are Dunk or Greer and Zamora or Hemed.

A 0-0 would be a very satisfactory result, with must win home games vs Birmingham and Charlton next.

I think he will too. It makes sense to me to play with the extra midfielder and try to break up the game and keep things tight. If we get too expansive we could get caught out by Burnley's wide players.

It's a shame that Rosenior will need to fill in at left back, because he is great playing in midfield away from home, and protecting the back four.

Our wingers are yet to switch wings during a game this season. I find that strange, but this is an illustration of my insufficient tactical knowledge, as I can't really question Hughton. There must be a reason why. I've just no idea what it is.

The reason some managers don't like their wingers switching wings is due to the fact that they often have a defensive job to do as well. I know it's not rocket science but when they chop and change wings it can lead to them switching off on who they are supposed to be tracking cack and marking.

Also, some players have a better understanding of their own full back on how far the full back they play alongside has been told he can push forward. I have seen CH teams where wingers with during games but they are few and far between and they tend to only be if they are chasing a game near the end.

Tomorrow will be a one up front I think with an extra midfielder pushing forward in support I think. Although we have had injuries recently, I think we have coped well with them

Thanks for this, and I agree about the team -- this, from this thread's first page:

Think it'll be and should be:

------------------- Stockdale -------------------
Bruno -- Greer -- Hunemeier -- Rosenoir
----- Kayal ------ Stephens ------ Crofts ---
March ---------------------------------- Murphy
--------------------- Hemed ---------------------

Subs: Maenpaa, Calderon, Dunk, Ince, JFC, Manu, Zamora

That is why I think we should have brought in a left back.

Well I think so too, but it seems that perhaps the club think differently, either that or they just can't find anyone able to do a decent enough job.

The problem is, as I see it, that it will become even more difficult so sign someone permanantly in January, as clubs are notoriously averse to letting their better players move on mid season.

There is always the possibility of Stephen Ward after tomorrow but Burnley may insist on a sale rather than a loan, which would have to wait until January and CH may not want.
