Not jfc ffs....that would seriously piss me off....will be 4-4-2 as we have no reason to change.

Pizza is your friend.

I did have one for this exact reason, got in last night and burnt the f*cker to pieces, to the point I couldn't even finish it. Praying that Hair of the Dog is an actual thing, or today could end badly.

Talking of things that are my friends, turns out my friends aren't. Going out for Halloween in Reading after the game but I'm the only one who's

A) Stuck to the sexy school girl theme, despite being a fat 6'4 bellend with a beard.
B) Decided to wear their fancy dress on the train.

Rosenior was a very shrewd acquisition. Shame we haven't got another one of him!

I think there is a possibility that CH will start with Calderon at left back and Liam Rosenior in right midfield to give us more defensive cover then possibly bring on more attacking options later if all is going well.

Yep I'm sure he considered it, but it would leave Calderon and March as a pair which seems a bit weak to me.

If Stephens is out I would prefer JFC in the advanced role rather than Ince as Crofts will probaby take Rosenior position if he is played at left back. Too ambitious to start with Murphy and March as Reading are an attacking force.

It could be that he'll swap to a 451 today, keeping the wingers but sacrificing a striker. That would allow Rosenior to move to left back.

I can see us switching to 4-5-1 today. We got dominated in midfield by Preston, and Reading away is a different proposition. I know we have King Kayal back but I can see something like.

Don't think there's any chance of Calde starting at left back... when he's played there in the past it's looked like a disaster waiting to happen.

Expected line up for Reading, if you're interested, 4-3-3:

Al-Habsi, Gunter, McShane, Hector, Obita, Norwood, Williams, Fernandez, Blackman, Sa, Vydra

Suggests that we will need Rosenior at left back, rather than right midfield.

About to head up to Wakefield for a bit of a do this evening. Will be listening nervously in a Premier Inn. A point would be fine. A win would be massive. Defeat is decidedly possible.

Why not Calderon and Murphy if Rosenior is on the right of midfield. Or better still is Lua Lua fit?
Reading have some fairly capable forwards, I'd want my defence to be as strong as possible. Rosenior has played left back many times for Hull in the PL, yes we'd lose him down the right but we can cover that adequately with other players. Calderon would be weaker at left back than Rosenior.

Hopefully having a solid defence will give the midfield more confidence to push Reading back, rather than sitting in and helping out.
