I remember playing in the park with some friends in November one year in my 30's. That American football with the edges can be incredibly hard to catch. Much different than a GK hauling in a long pass from the opposition in world football.
Oh yes it's not as if we were pointing and laughing (although we did nickname him 'Mr Whoopsie').
It wouldn't have been so bad if he was just missing it, which is what I would have been doing.
He was running the drills, setting himself, getting his hands around the ball every single time, then dropping it.

Hehe!

Quite a transformation, every game seems to be a dramatic roller coaster. Watching the Falcons is certainly no good for my heart!!

Great to see white making some catches at last! We didn't play well yday at all but still just managed to win.... A sign of winners! Saints next....6-0 surely?! Lol damn am even starting to think playoffs already!!

A good day to be a Browns fan - especially after a win against the Ravens )
Defense is still being trampled all over though, & the run game is non existent at the moment...but at least McCown & Barnidge are getting it done.
Any time you are averaging over 25 points a game you will be in with a chance, so fingers crossed Shelton, Whitner, Starks etc. can pull their fingers out!

Jesus fecking Christ, how does Gus Bradley keep his job? The guy is supposed to be a defensive coach, his D just surrendered 5 TD's to the Bucs, THE BUCS FFS! Piss off and stop ruining my enjoyment of 'Murican football, I hope he's gone by the time we play the Bills at Wembley, it's the only way we won't get utterly humiliated.

Off topic, I was in Denmark at the weekend to my see my eldest brother bring down the curtain on his football career, he's been playing for 30 years  and his last fixture was in the Mermaid Bowl final, his team, the Triangle Razorbacks, trailed 17-10 with 6 minutes to go but won 21-17 in regular time, amazing scenes as he capped his career with his 4th Championship ring (3x Danish, 1xBrit bowl).

I've seen some of the highlights DFP - Adrian's had a fantastic football career & to outlast (almost) all of us old B52 Juniors is amazing - even more so when you consider he's spent all those years in the trenches! At least he can now put his feet up with the missus and plenty of that Danish bacon! Is he coaching the youth set up these days as well?

Yeah, he's been coaching the kids this season, next year I think he's coaching the kids and the first team. I'm not sure how much time he'll be getting to put his feet up as he's so involved with the Razors and 2 of his his partners kids play for them, one in the u-14's and one in the first team and National team, he's a full on football Dad, and he clearly loves it. You're spot on about the bacon, he'll be eating more than his fair share

Good on him - always liked Adrian. Tough as nails on the field but a good guy off it. Still intrigued as to how he ended up in Denmark though....last time I saw him he was working in Macca D's!
My boys are getting into the sport too these days, but they are still too young for kitted football. Not sure if there are any flag teams around the area, but I'm sure once I get them involved in playing I'll be back in the fold along with all the others from the B52s that are still coaching / playing etc.!

He moved out there with a woman but things went sideways, after that one of the mum's of the kids he was coaching took a shine to him and now they live together in a beautiful bungalow with her youngest son who idolises Adrian. He's got a brilliant set up and his lady is lovely, he's punching above his weight to be fair and he's currently the heaviest he's ever been

AFC is an atrocious division this year, even worse than usual. I think there's only 1 team that can beat you out of that #1 draft spot and that'll be my beloved Jaguars :(

You've got a valid point there. In the South, there's 3 pretty hopeless teams and the Colts. They could probably win it with an 8-8 record.

The double and sometimes treble team marking of JJ Watt is proving very effective in nullifying his threat.

And with 5 games gone, we are still no nearer finding out who the starting QB is or should be.

Shambles.
