Not being a Hughton kind of player confuses me, He trained well, he did ok in a team which was largely shit last season, there is more to it than Hughton just not rating him.

My thoughts are along the lines of his contract, Apperance fees, bonus's etc

Either way good luck to him.

17 appearances might suggest he had a payment due at 20.

Not sure why this is in the albion's interest as they could have tried to get him off the books in January.

So the albion surely haven't paid him more than 3 months wages as severance ? ???

Chicksen likely next out?

I guess the club hoped Granada would take him off our hands at the end of lsat season and when that didn't happen (and no one else expressed an interest) they thought it was best to cut their losses.

His sublime cross for Ince's volley at Swindon will remain in my memory for a long time. I hope he finds a club where he can settle and play well.

I think that one had a shade of good fortune and summed up that he could not beat his man for pace. Cross for Bruno against Norwich and well timed run at Craven Cottage and arriving at the far post for his first tap in goal come to mind. Solly March's last performance was possibly the final straw?

This one is a real shame, he joined the club at the wrong time and things haven't worked out for him, I wish him well but the club had to do this.

The bottom line is that's one less experienced striker we have at the club, making a loan striker even more of a priority now.

Strange but true but there's always somebody who says that about ANY player who ever leaves the club, no matter how patently rubbish they were during their time here. There are always one or two stragglers rueing the departure of the likes of, say, Holroyd, long after everybody else has given them up for dead. Game of opinions tho eh?

Yep a game of opinions it certainly is, but seriously would you put Colunga and Holroyd at the same skill level?

Oh well, we haven't seen him in the squad for so long he's not really going to be missed.

Good luck Adrian and thanks.

It would have been interesting to see him this season in a much improved side, maybe in Baldock's position, who has done very well without scoring many goals.

He may have taken the penalty at Wolves as well.

Will Mr Hambo be able to replace him in the squad soon ? ???

Why can't he sign for a new club right way if he's a free agent ???

I wondered that, but think it may be because he's had his wages paid up to January. I don't actually know if he's had his wages paid up, it's just speculation, on my part, why he's not free to sign for another club.

Because he would have had to have been a free agent before the closure of the last transfer window .... as now free agent he will have to wait for the next transfer window to open in January
