Morning all. MBH Jr was up at 6. She's now playing with the loudest and gaudiest piece of plastic in the universe. It is singing songs about picnics and, quite frankly, doing my box.

GFH Jr has just woken up, I can hear little grumbles coming from his room as he builds up to really letting us know he's awake.

Still, slept until 7:30, win!

I managed to completely sleep through the night feeds last night. He woke up at 5 and has been snorting and snuffling ever since. Hopefully he will have his morning nap soon.

One week on and after the night we had last night I'm starting to care more about the lack of sleep! I don't think we got more than 30 mins in one go all night.

I'm back at work tomorrow too, which is going to make things a whole lot trickier.

How're you feeling now good sir? Has the sleeping settled down?

Presumably you've now done a week back at work...finding it tough?

It's been a bit all over the place this week. Back at work, although I can work from home quite a lot which has made the transition easier.

Was really struggling yesterday after a couple of nights of 2.5 hours sleep, but last night she decided to have two unbroken sleeps of 2.5-3 hours, so feel pretty good today! I guess it's going to be a bit like that for a while.

Mini Sock was up at 6.30. The wife was in a surprisingly good mood and has only just come back to the room to let me know I have half an hour until I need to leave to take him to cricket.

There are worse ways to spend a Sunday than sitting in the Berkshire sunshine with a load of Dads watching about 5/6 different youth cricket matches and discussing everything in life yet at the same time absolutely nothing

We moved the little one into her own room this week, and into her massive new cot!

She slept really well in the first couple of nights. Last night was reasonable until about five, and then she stirred what seemed like every five minutes after that.

Her mum got her up about six and I managed to get another couple of hours - result!

7ish weeks to go :-o

Good luck!

You're in for an amazing experience. Little HP is almost five months, and I can safely say there's nothing quite like it!

After a lively night with Jr GFH that ended with him sleeping with us (13 months old), he's just woken up in an incredibly lively mood.

Currently roaring (or baby equivalent) at me for no discernible reason.

Our 4 week old appears to have her first cold - hasn't been able to sleep anywhere the last couple of nights apart from face down on my chest. Just woken up and it feels like my back is on fire.
