Patcham - all Tory. If the greens and labour weren't standing against each other in all these seats, it'd be easy to keep the Tories out.

Very disappointed to see my old schoolfriend Chris Taylor didn't get elected (for Labour) in Hanover and Elm Grove. (Some of you may know him as he used to be the landlord of the Greys in Southover Street). He would have been a brilliant councillor.

Got a feeling there could be some bad news coming for the Greens in Hollingdean...

Seems as if the Greens are hanging on in the town centre hippy zones, but losing seats they won last time to Labour in the more suburban seats. Goldsmid will be interesting.

It all mimics the national vote, Greens being pushed back into the centre of the town and the suburbs reverting back to Blue and Red.

No, some very sensible suburbs have never been Green or close to being Green, and continued this on Thursday with the Greens being nowhere other than towards the bottom of the results.

They didn't win any seats last time in the more enlightened suburbs., and haven't again.

No it's the labour suburban seats that went green last time that seem to be reverting somewhat. The hardcore Tory bungalow lands have remained solid blue throughout.
