Oh well at least the economy is improving, oh wait it isn't.
So you're saying we're in a recession? This must be breaking news.

We can now kiss good bye to the NHS and possibly Great Britain and us being in Europe.

Oh well at least the economy is improving, oh wait it isn't.

Don't drop them straws, when licking those wounds.

Just waking up.
What an absolutely stunning result.
I'm concerned about @Ernest though - has anyone heard from him this morning?
(I don't want to waste my time quoting some of his classic contributions to this thread if he's not going to man up abd take it on the chin)

Morning Bozza

Oh well, at least it's the end of Tub thumper inane predictions and the fools that followed him. Maybe if he lived here he might have had his finger on the pulse. Seven point lead and neck and neck indeed lol.

To give Ernest some credit, he did warn we should be guarded with the exit poll as it would likely be wrong.

He was right - it seems it underestimated just how badly Labour have performed.

Stop gloating you Tory wankers!! :wanker::wanker::wanker::wanker::wanker::lolol:

A majority, well there you go, they've delivered a mandate to the British people. Paddy Ashdown has to eat a hat (he said as much on the BBC) I think Alistair Campbell needs to eat a shirt too.

Well done the Conservatives...woooo...I'm finding it hard to contain my delight...wooooo....lets have a party....this is me taking it on the chin....the emotion I'm feeling is like the Palace in the South Stand erupting in a frenzy....yeah that much excitement......only I'm still in the other end....

Technically improving on the one hand but people worse off on the other, so improving for whom?

And what about the NHS, I really hope I'm wrong, but I can imagine big changes over the next five years, privatisation in quality of care down...

Thank heavens the public have voted for sanity rather than the nightmare that some on here wanted.
I suppose Ed will resign and at the time of posting, the other Ed may well have lost his seat.
Time for Labour to bring forward their bright and less socialist MP's if they are to regain credibility with the voters.
